The House of Representatives is in shambles according to poll after poll.   We are no longer a nation governed of the people, by the people and for the people but by moveon.org who wholly owns the Democrat Party.   America wanted a change, so they put Pelosi and her ilk in power and this is what we got, the largest tax increase in history and $4.00 per gallon gas.  Now we have B. Hussein Obama claiming that he'll give us even more of self destructive changes brought forth by the Democrat controlled Congress.   

The inherent problem with the electorate at this point in time is the burning hatred of George W. Bush fueled by media lies and Democrat distortions which are happening lockstep in an orchestrated attempt to undermine anything positive in our nation.   When was the last time that we heard that unemployment and mortgage rates were at record lows?  At any point during the last eight years have we ever heard of a time when the economy was booming or that we were winning the supposedly unwinnable war in Iraq?   When was the last terrorist attack in the United States.  There are many positive things happening in our nation, but liberals realize that the only way to win is through class warfare and demagoguery, which is why average Americans such as you and I have a moral and an ethical obligation to set the record straight. 

I am the first to say that many aspects of our elected leadership are dysfunctional.   What do you expect when you put a large group of leaders, often elected by the uninformed, into positions of power?   Remember, the majority of Americans can't name the Vice President and nearly 90% can't name their Congressional Representative.  Sure they can name the latest winner of American Idiot, but in the grand scheme of things most people are too dumb to vote.

The bottom line is that most Americas, whether they are informed or not, want the same things; national security, an end to illegal immigration, better schools, lower taxes and fewer government regulations.   The reality is that the party who can seize on this message and PROMISE a vote on the following ten issues within 120 days of this years elections will win in a landslide, and you can take that to the bank.   

1-       Make English the official language of the United States.  No more multi-lingual ballots, lunch menus or driver license tests.   Our ancestors did it in English, so can the people coming here today. 

2-       Pass the FairTax and get rid of the horrible, cumbersome and unfair existing tax code. 

3-       Pass laws denying citizenship to children born in the United States to illegal aliens and outlawing all forms of educational, healthcare and welfare benefits for any illegal aliens.

4-       Pass laws increasing penalties on employers who hire or landlords who rent to illegal aliens.

5-       Pass a law requiring all people coming to America to possess marketable job skills.

6-       Replace our existing structure of funding educational institutions with a structure that allows educational tax dollars to follow students, rather than schools.  The only way to fix our government educational mess is to increase competition and take away the Teacher’s Union monopoly that undermines our children today.

7-       Make Social Security optional.   It’s a broken system that can only be fixed when people are free to move their money to individual retirement accounts and investments. 

8-       Cut the size and scope of government by 50%.   Hire private sector accounting firms to do a top to bottom audit of all programs and employees and terminate either that is determined to be ineffective.   The bottom line is that American businesses and individuals are doing more with less, so can the government.   Take those savings and pay down our foreign debt.

9-       Begin oil exploration in ANWR, off the California and Florida coasts and in Rocky Mountain shale areas.   Give tax exemptions for private sector development of alternative energy.  

10-   Pass a bill permanently outlawing the Fairness Doctrine including language that makes the commission of any act of political correctness a criminal act.  

Look, this isn’t rocket science, but it is the future of our nation that is in peril due to the insidious socialist agenda being pushed by liberals.   It's time that someone wake up the uninformed electorate with facts, which are merely an inconvenient truth for liberals.   It's time for demand a Contract to Save America from the kook fringe and put us back on the right track.  I have a hard time believing that in a nation of 300 million, where at least some of us have common sense, there's not one person who can take this message all the way to Washington.
