Coronation, what coronation?

Today is just another day. I’ll get up, go to work and see half of what I earn stolen by an out of control federal bureaucracy intent on destroying America.   While the nanny state electorate of sub IQ 80 Americans celebrates the coming of hope and change as the messiah parts the skies, I’ll be toiling away to figure out how to make more money, because Lord knows I’m going to need it.
The waning hours of a presidency are always interesting, especially the pardons and commutations. You will recall that in his final act, Bill Clinton pardoned felon fugitive financier Marc Rich and members of the Puerto Rican terrorist organization FALN.   After eight years of crime, corruption and cover-ups that defined the Clinton administration, this came as no surprise.
Pardons and commutations tell a lot about a person, so it also came as no surprise when I heard that President Bush commuted the sentences of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. It makes perfect sense that a man who has committed eight years of his life to defending our freedom would stand up to free two honorable men who were maliciously prosecuted while defending our borders.
If you recall, Ramos and Compean were border guards who confronted Osvaldo Davila, a convicted drug smuggler and illegal alien.   After a brief scuffle, Davila attempted to flee and was shot in the butt. Liberal , activist prosecutors then took Ramos and Compean to task and somehow won convictions.   The two men were sentenced to ten years in jail and Davila rewarded for making up stories as he testified for the prosecution.
The greatest mistake of Ramos and Compean was not finishing the job. They should have done what any honorable American would do when faced with a gate crashing felon; kill the parasite.
As our president leaves office, he leaves on a high note that will certainly be ignored by the mainstream media. Why? Because it would make the president look good which would run counter to their never ending agenda of character assassination.
Besides, it would take time away from the coronation of the anointed one.   I mean, seriously, how can we talk about national security when Michele Obama is wearing a new dress.   How can we talk trillion dollar budget deficits when the orgasmic events of the day are only costing the tax payers $150 million, which by the way is four times more than Bush spent on his inauguration that drove the media ballistic.
But this is the day and age of hypocrisy. The liberals have finally found a leader, who like them, loathes freedom, liberty and justice.   They now have the ability to undermine God, family and country with their own values of emasculation and political correctness. They now have the power to ban free speech, only allow criminals access to guns, gay marriage, drive through abortion clinics, economic illiteracy, failing schools, union intimidation, sham elections, pedophilia and terrorism.
Certainly there may be a democrat or two that doesn’t share those values but it’s fair to say that they aren’t in Washington where NAMBLA has front row seats to the Li’l Jazzy J rap show at the mall. As I said earlier, today is just another day for the intelligent few left in America. Certainly it’s a celebration for the young, the dumb and the uninformed to whom Obama owes a debt of gratitude. For the rest of us it’s time to figure out how we’re not going to get our pockets picked over the next four years.
