According to the latest Gallup poll 40% of Americans identify themselves as conservatives and 36% identify themselves as moderate with only 20% being self described liberals.   With such a minority on the left, how is it possible that America’s president is the most left wing, radical liberal in the history of the Republic? Simple, a government run education monopoly coupled with an extremely biased media resulting in a level of misinformation unparalleled in the universe. 

Consider that the main source of news for many Americans are the alphabet networks with anchors such as Katie Couric who is more fit for an appearance on Dancing with the Tards than to deliver the news.   Millions of Americans flock to buy People Magazine, log into TMZ or watch Entertainment tonight for their daily dose of whose screwing who in Hollywood yet they couldn’t name their state senators or Congressman. 

Perhaps the silver lining is that CNN is now dead last in the ratings of cable news networks. The aforementioned 40% of informed Americans are the driving force behind Fox News continuing its domination in this arena. 

Print media is down another 10.6% which certainly isn’t attributable to inflation or a nearly flat viewing of internet alternatives but rather due to the inherent bias resulting in most newspapers being better used as toilet paper than a news or information source. 

But none of this seems to matter to liberals who are intent on ramming through socialized medicine irrespective of the financial consequences or generational theft.   What’s more amazing is that Americans, who overwhelmingly are opposed to socialized medicine are sitting idly by more concerned about which celeb is adopting another baby from Obama’s Kenyan homeland. 

Perhaps it’s time for each and every one of us to take the initiative to inform our ill informed family, friends, relatives and neighbors of the failures of liberalism.   Start by going up to an unemployed Obama voter and asking them how that stimulus is working out and then remind them that when Bush left office the unemployment was less than 5%.   Ask about the coddling of terrorists in Club Gitmo and then point out the escalating troop deaths in Afghanistan.   Remind them about the failures of social security and medicare and remind them that those programs are the poster children for the health reform being proposed by liberal Democrats.   The list goes on and on but one thing stays the same; every program ever rolled out by liberals has become an utter failure. Why? Because liberals are measured only on intent, not results. 

Government schools sure sound good; by and large they are complete and utter failures. School bussing was designed to force integration of schools yet virtually all inner city schools are segregated with an primarily black population whose minds are raped by the unaccountable teachers unions.   Taxing the rich to pay for the poor may sound like a noble idea, but did you ever wonder why the rich are moving more and more money, jobs and businesses overseas? Unions were all about fairness until the jobs went to India and China.   Yes, every liberal ideal is has proven to be a failure. 

Now what? Bans on free speech, bans on guns, bans on Fox News, bans on transfats, bans on SUV’s, bans on fireplaces.   Again, an endless list designed to limit your rights and your freedoms because liberals know that the only way to make despotism succeed is to keep the people down and uninformed. Of course, it looks like they are succeeding in that regard. Time to wake up…it’s 1763 all over again.

In a move that can only be described as 21^st century McCarthyism, Rush Limbaugh has been dropped from a group of investors seeking to by the St. Louis Cardinal’s NFL franchise.   According to his former partners, his involvement has become a distraction.  It has only become a distraction because the mainstream media made it a distraction. 

According to the folks at CNN, The Treason Times and the rest of the alphabet networks, Limbaugh is a racist. Of course their calls are without merit and actually border on slander.   I wonder if there would have been the same reaction had avowed racists such as Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton attempted to by an NFL franchise.    I thought so; again exposing the hypocrisy of modern day liberals.

The entire brouhaha stems from an ESPN stint Limbaugh did in 2003 during which he said, "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well." I’m not sure why there was an outcry because this statement is fact.   The NFL has a history of kowtowing to race pimps, in particular when it comes to quarterbacks and coaches.   Of course, this statement sparked the ire of a liberal who was outraged that anyone dare exercise their first amendment rights and Limbaugh was fired.  

Clearly what we are seeing today is a push by the radical left to ostracize a successful conservative voice of reason.   Liberals hate Limbaugh because he is successful and they cannot understand how he has become the most listened to voice on the airwaves.    As is evidenced by their patronizing of real Americans with their actions on the healthcare and illegal alien fronts, they don’t understand that they are the minority.    Whether you like Limbaugh or not, the fact remains that he voices what most true patriots think, but are afraid to say.  

We don’t like excessive government and believe that it is the root of all problems facing this nation.   This is a factual statement to which there is no rebuttal.   We live our lives according to the principles established by our forefathers, placing family and God above all else.   Again, there is no refuting this.   We are outraged at the massive power grabs by the current administration and his axis of evil in Congress; again, there is no disputing this fact either.  

What we truly should be concerned about are people like Limbaugh getting persecuted by those who disagree with his positions.   Even more concerning are the lies and distortions being perpetuated by the media. My hope is that Limbaugh strikes back with every weapon in his arsenal against everyone at every network who is vilifying him.   He needs to seek monetary damages because this persecution has hit him squarely in the bankroll.  

 

As a consolation prize for failing to land the 2016 Olympic Games, Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.   I guess his apologies to the world on behalf of the emasculated Americans who elected him (with a little help from ACORN) were heartfelt and apparently graciously accepted.  

While the mainstream media is all giddy about this nonsensical award, it’s important to put this into context.   If you recall, Al Gore won this same award for his bogus claims of global warming; Kofi Annan won as the result of his food for oil scam.   As if this isn’t embarrassing enough, recall that Jimmy Carter, the single worst president in the history of America (until today) won this award in 2002.  

I’m not quite sure where to start, but I guess we can begin with qualifications.    The nomination for this award were due 11 days after the Chosen One took office.  I don't really recall him doing much of anything during those eleven days, other than propose a smorgasboard of nanny state welfare programs to bankrupt our nation.   We certainly know that he did nothing before he was elected, other than prance around amidst the downtrodden crack addicts, pimps and ho’s on Chicago’s South Side, pretending to be one of them; at least when he wasn’t hanging out in the living room of terrorist Bill Ayers or the pews at Jeremiah Wright’s church.  

So for a guy who lacks the credentials to be so much as a school crossing guard, what did he do to earn this Nobel Peace Prize?   He has coddled terrorists and criminals alike.  He bows at the altar of big government being the solution to all while worshipping  the ground that illegal aliens walk on, especially on Election Day. He has spoken of meeting with Iranian thug Mahmoud Ahmedinejad without precondition and while Iran is building nukes, he seeks to disarm America and Europe.   He spent our tax dollars to travel the world, emitting untold amounts of carbon into the atmosphere, to say he was sorry for the greatness of America and our people.   He speaks of one world, apparently run by the United Nations, where everyone gets to share the wealth of those who actually work for it.   This isn’t worth of a peace prize, but rather a surrender prize.   In fact, it is worth of this week’s Golden Pansy Award. 

To stand before the world and to apologize for economic freedom and individual liberty is not only wrong, it is down right un-American.   To not extol the virtues of self reliance and rugged individualism, the key characteristics of our forefathers who made this country great is unconscionable.   Aside from his blatant lack of qualifications to receive any award, the bigger issue is the reason why his fellow nanny state elitist liberals bestowed this upon him.  

 

Contrary to what the mainstream media would have you believe, liberals are pushing hard to provide access to healthcare for illegal aliens.   According to an article in the Washington Times, Michael Honda, a California Democrat, is sponsoring legislation that would provide access to these gate crashing criminals. Here’s a novel idea, how about sponsoring legislation to make the punishment for coming here illegally twenty years on a chain gang picking up trash and cleaning up the graffiti caused by other illegals…and if you happen to get sick we will give you a one way ticket back to Mexico where you can capitalize on that countries free healthcare.  

If Democrats are going to capitulate to the illegal alien lobbyists, I wonder what they will do when Iran completes their first nuke.   As a show of defiance to the world, it is being reported by Reuters India that Iran is testing some short range missiles that have the ability to reach Israel.   It’s no secret that Iranian thug Mahmoud Ahmedinejad has said that he wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.   It’s also no secret that he is actively developing nuclear weapons.   Of course the Democrats in Washington will do nothing, because they live to bow at the altar of Islamic fascism.   Perhaps it’s time for Israel to flex their muscle and turn Tehran into a parking lot with a half life of a generation. 

In other news, Bill Clinton came out this weekend in support of gay marriage.   I guess this should come as no surprise, as many of us have often questioned Hillary’s gender.   The question for Clinton, and all liberals who support marriage for gays is whether or not they support marriage for any alternative lifestyle.   After all, you can’t support marriage for some alternative lifestyles, and not all, without being hypocritical.  There are many types of deviant behavior and according to the liberal mantra, who are we do judge.   Using the logic that liberals espouse for gay marriage, then polygamy should be legal, as should marriages between a father and daughter, pedophile and prey or master and dog.  

While we are on the topic of pansies, ABC news is reporting that Obama has freed three more of his brethren from Club Gitmo, including one who was sent back to the Islamic fascist hotbed of Yemen. Why not just give them some free flying lessons and the keys to a 747?  

The failures of this administration continue to mount.   Is it even possible for them to do anything right? From the economy to foreign policy they are on the wrong side of everything, ensuring that the recession will linger and our national security will continue to be threatened.   It is just a matter of time until unemployment hits 15%.    We can probably count the days before Islamic fascists attack somewhere in the United States. Then again, when you are a hollow eyed, delusional liberal, these kind of things just don’t matter because there are more important things to do, like letting Neil marry Bob and giving free healthcare to Jose and his family of illegals.

America had the perfect opportunity to be the hero or the goat yesterday before the UN.   It was bad enough that this gathering of thugs, including Fidel Castro, Moammar Quaddafi and Mahmoud Ahmedinjad, were in our homeland.   What made matters worse, was our very own president embracing an apologetic tone towards the world for our transgressions of spreading freedom and liberty.

He spoke of evil Americans who drive cars that spew carbon into the atmosphere.   He demonized of military for freeing the people of Iraq and Afghanistan.   He demeaned Israel, while extolling the virtues of the pro-terrorist Palestinian state.   He was embraced by Fidel Castro and Quadaffi referred to him as “my son”.   The speech given by Obama was as much of a disgrace as the anti Semitic rhetoric spewed by Quadaffi and Ahmedinejad.  

What should have happened yesterday was an orchestrated, covert operation between the NSA, the CIA and military intelligence.   In one fell swoop we could have cleaned up the world’s human debris who gathered at the United Nations for their annual “We Hate America” assembly, where they plot such things as global taxes, currencies and a new world order.   Simple things like car crashes, muggings or other staged events could have done  more in one afternoon than we will be able to do in the next three generations.   What would the world think of such accidents?   I don’t know; but perhaps Canada and England’s delegations walking out on Ahmedinejad gives us a good indication. 

I am sure the elitist liberals would disagree with such an approach, because they worship despots.   Since the days of Jimmy Carter breaking bread with Edi Amin, liberals have been infatuated and envious of those who have created an environment of suffering and human rights violations, so much so that they are trying to emulate it right in our own country with bans on guns, God and free speech.

Like most Americans with common sense (read those who did not vote for Obama)I am not in favor of despots and dictators.   They are illegitimate regimes installed with power and intimidation rivaled only by the tactics at ACORN.   They need to all be removed from power because every human being is entitled to the basic rights of freedom.   So instead of apologizing for our great nation, perhaps Obama could have done the right thing and told them that their days were numbered while extolling, instead of condemning, American exceptionalism. 

He could have told Iran that if they don’t stop trying to produce a nuclear bomb, we will use our own arsenal to wipe their terrorist state off the face of the earth.   Ditto to Kim Jong Il and anyone else who dare try to attack our way of life.   He could have told Castro and Chavez that human suffering will no longer be tolerated.   His message to the despots in Africa should have been an ultimatum to free their people or face the wrath of our military.  Instead he praised despotism with promises to reduce our nuclear arsenal during a time of war.   While Columbia professors, Nancy Pelosi and Osama Bin Laden may have been beaming with pride at such idiocy, the rest of us should be scared to death as his speech truly reflects undertones that are downright unpatriotic. 

Again, we are seeing Obama’s true colors which are anything but red, white and blue.   He continues to put his narcissistic goals and agenda before the good of the country.   His poll numbers continue to decline with a new Rasmussen poll showing that he has become even more polarizing than president Bush which is cause for concern; as that would mean that there are actual intellectually challenged people in our nation who put style over substance.   So what happens when we have another 9/11? If Obama keeps up his apologetic tone, it’s just a matter of time which will be another I Told You So moment.

In yet another victory for the enemy, Barack Obama has decided to scrap missile defense systems in the Czech Republic and Poland.   You will recall that these shields were initially proposed by the Bush administration as a way to intercept missiles from Iran or another rogue Middle Eastern state.   Given our rocky history with Russia, the locations selected couldn’t have been more ideal, as they would have killed two birds with one stone.  

What’s one to do in this day and age where our commander in chief routinely appeases our enemies, at home and abroad.   Whether it’s the Pelosi democrats in Congress or al-Quada at Club Gitmo, it just doesn’t seem to matter just so long as their seditious pals in the mainstream media vilify anyone who stands up for America, God and families.

At least the U.K. Telegraph is calling out Obama with a headline that reads “Barack Obama surrenders to Russia on Missile Defence”.   Yes, it is indeed a cowardly act by arguably the most unfit person to ever lead our nation.   Can you imagine Ronald Reagan, or even old school Democrats such as Roosevelt or Truman, acting in such a cowardly way?   Seriously, is this Barack Obama or a reincarnation of Neville Chamberlain? 

With each passing day it seems that the only war being waged by liberals is against our own citizens. Heaven forbid we call someone an Islamic fascist but don’t let a day go by without referring to true patriots who attend tea parties as terrorists.   Don’t get me wrong, there are domestic terrorists and most of them are in Washington and all of them are liberals.  

These are the people who are seeking to silence free speech and who use the mainstream media to indoctrinate the young, the dumb and the uninformed, best known as the Obama electorate.   The amazing thing is that these people still support Obama despite his doing everything in his power to undermine the free market and national security. 

Can you imagine the outrage if George Bush had bankrupted our nation, increased troops in an Islamic fascist stronghold or grew government exponentially? Oh, I forget, he did that too.   Yes, the liberals were outraged, calling him every name imaginable. But one Congressman calls Obama a liar and all hell breaks loose.   Once again, we are seeing typical liberal hypocrisy.   Don’t voice your opinion unless you agree with us and if you do, we will use every means possible to silence you.   Sounds a little bit like a third world banana republic. Kenya perhaps? 

 

As liberals in Congress look to places like Britain for guidance in socializing medicine the state run media is conspicuously absent in their coverage of just what this would mean for Americans.   According to the U.K. Daily Mail more than 4,000 babies are born annually in hospital elevators, corridors and even toilets due to hospital overcrowding and bed shortages.    Even worse, there was a recent case of a Brit who collapsed from appendicitis three weeks after the NHS removed his appendix! Yes, this is the future of Obamacare.

The very term Obamacare is an oxymoron because Obama cares nothing about you or I but rather of his narcissistic quest for power and control.   Obama could care less if babies are born in elevators or toilets as long as he enslaves the masses with entitlements, better known as legalized bribes for votes.  

Obama is not alone in this quest for power, as it is an addiction suffered by all liberals whose view of government compares to a junkies view of heroin.    In fact those who don’t subscribe to their totalitarian views are often ridiculed and cajoled as being uncaring, selfish or even Nazis. Interestingly, the rise of Hitler came on the heels of socialism in Germany…then again you wouldn’t expect liberals to know the facts. 

Now with the death of Teddy Kennedy will come a renewed effort to implement socialized medicine in his name.   If you have insurance now, don’t worry, you can keep that policy and pay for another policy for someone less fortunate which is precisely how this charade will work.   If you get insurance through your employer, this will be taxed as income.   If you own a small business expect an increase in your premium in the form of a surcharge.   For those with no insurance you can count on another freebie. Just like you get your weekly dole to spend on malt liquor, crack and porn you will now be rewarded with free, no deductible, no copay healthcare.   All you have to do is sign your life away to the government and fill out your election ballots as instructed by ACORN. 

This is the unfortunate truth of the times in which we live where the stupid outnumber the intelligent, the uninformed outnumber the informed and those who get their news from Entertainment Tonight, People Magazine and the Communist News Network outnumber those who know what is really going on. 

The question is just how far can liberals go before there is an uprising? Liberals and their union thugs have destroyed our government schools, decimated our inner cities and gutted domestic manufacturing.   They are now diligently working to wipe out our financial and automotive industries.   The mere fact that the word government and healthcare are used in the same sentence should send up red flags as government does nothing right.   The truth is that we could fire 99% of all non military government personnel and our nation would be better off than we are today.  

Should you be scared? Of course, unless your goal is to live in a government theocracy which is where we are headed.   I use the word theocracy because liberalism is a cult like religion with leadership that views themselves in a God like way.   Liberals believe that they are superior to those of us who work for a living.   They view us as a never ending checkbook used to bankroll entitlements for the underclass that they have created by design.   What they don’t seem to recognize is that socialism always fails because the money always runs out.  

 

There is a debate brewing in Dallas to rename government schools after Barack Obama and Sonia Sotomayor.   Forget the fact that schools should be named as tribute to those who have died. Forget the fact that schools should be named for those who have made meaningful contributions in their life which would disqualify both Obama and Sotomayor.    This little game is all about political correctness and the desire of certain minorities to name schools after other certain minorities; in other words race baiting politics at its best. 

If you want to play that game, then how about naming the schools for truly great Americans such as Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice or Herman Cain who like Obama are alive BUT unlike him have made meaningful contributions to society.   Perhaps those desirous of a Hispanic could name their schools after Alberto Gonzales or better yet Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, the two border agents maliciously prosecuted by the Clinton administration for doing their jobs and subsequently pardoned by George Bush.   Yes, real Americans who actually have made contributions to our society rather than a blatantly racist Supreme Court justice who thinks nothing of discriminating against white firefighters. 

The type of idiocy coming out of the Dallas once again illustrates the failures of our government schools where race baiting politics takes a priority to education.   These are the same schools that preach Black History Month, Kwanzaa and Ramadan while chastising anyone who dare mention the words under God. These are the types of schools that have banned dodgeball, tag and grading papers in red ink for fear of upsetting failing students who wouldn’t know the difference because the school nurse has them hopped up on Ritalin. 

According to the school district the eyes of the parents and children “light up” at the proposition of a school named for the messiah.   Rather than a school they should rename the short school buses whose riders and parents are the only people that actually support the guy in the first place once again reflecting the need to make voters pass an IQ test before they should be allowed to vote.  

What is happening in inner city Dallas is something that is happening in inner cities, run into the ground by liberal elitists, across the nation.   Be it Dallas or Detroit or Cleveland or New Orleans, the list of failing cities goes on and on.   Without fail these cities are run by one political party, extorting money from businesses with the help of union thugs and ACORN.   They comprise a mere fraction of our landmass but have enough ignorant and uninformed residents to sway an entire presidential election.   When John Edwards says that we have two nations, perhaps he is right only it’s not rich vs. poor; it’s intelligent vs. uninformed. 

My guess is that they aren’t trying to rename schools for Barack Hussein Obama in suburbia. Nor are they trying to rename schools for racists in rural America.   You see, in these areas people have common sense. People work for a living and understand the evils of big government.   Perhaps it’s time that our failing and bankrupt cities learned a lesson from the productive members of our society. Then again, it’s not about us, it’s about them. It’s about power and a culture of corruption that one would expect to find in a third world banana republic, not the United States. Sadly it’s here and now it’s in Washington, D.C.

With tempers flaring at town hall meetings from coast to coast, it appears that rather than listen to constituents concerns Democrats are seeking to intimidate and muzzle the masses.  The White House has launched a site for Americans to snitch on those who don’t support socialized medicine.   Unions are sending thugs into meetings to threaten and cajole fellow Americans who simply want answers.  All the while the state run mainstream media sits idly by as the Obama Gestapo uses Stalinist tactics to quash dissent. 

I would give anything to know what our founding fathers and heroes of years past are thinking as they look down from the heavens on the civil unrest occurring.  Were Americans this dissatisfied in the 1770’s when they dumped tea in the harbor? Were those who attended that tea party called Nazi’s by the Speaker of the House as Nancy Pelosi labels those who seek freedom today?

One this is for certain, we have finally found the liberal hot buttons.   For years we have assumed that liberals were anti-war cowards.   Apparently they just don’t like to attack those from abroad, but sure have no problem attacking those at home. How is it possible for an entire political party to bow down at the altar of Islamic fascism and welcome terrorists to our homeland with open arms and then turn around and intimidate hard working, taxpaying Americans?

I certainly hope that those who voted for Obama and realizing the error of their ways. I don’t want to criticize them for their past misdeeds, but rather welcome them to the paradigm of conservatism and common sense. We have long though that liberals were anti-American and anti-freedom but had only scant proof. We believed that the mainstream media watch by many and the government schools attended by others were breeding grounds for liberal socialist indoctrination.   Now we are seeing proof and I don’t believe that Democrats are happy with what their leadership is doing to the nation.   Perhaps it is time to welcome those who care about our nation into the realm of intellectually honest dialogue. 

If I were a Democrat and had been bamboozled by the Greek columns and soaring Obama rhetoric, I too would be furious.   The true colors of liberalism are finally showing through and it is as red as the hammer and sickle of the former USSR.   The mere fact that Moscow’s Pravda is noticing the rise of communism in our nation shows how un-American our nation has become. Yes, if you support Marxist socialist fascist ideals and the redistribution of wealth you are un-American.   Sorry, but somebody’s gotta say it. 

Personally I find these town hall meetings to be a breath of fresh air. It isn’t every day that liberals are taken to task by a public who is generally too busy watching American Idiot to care about their freedom and liberty.   Finally the apple cart has tipped over and the truth of the liberal agenda is being exposed. Liberals don’t care about America, just as they don’t care about you. All they care about is power and control. We see this as they take over the banking and automotive industries. We see it as they seek to take over health care. We see it as they seek to silence free speech, mandate unionization and take away our right to defend our loved ones from the very criminals they coddle.   The message that we have to send to liberals: Game On!

Step 1- Liberals must admit that they are powerless over their addiction to big government, entitlements and their hatred of George W. Bush, God, economic freedom, individual liberty and capitalism.

Step 2- Liberals must come to believe that a power greater than government can restore us to sanity.

Step 3- Liberals must make a decision to turn their will and their lives over to the care of God.   They must first accept that there is a God and that our nation lives as one nation under God and that God was the creator of all the hot Fox News babes.   

Step 4- Liberals must make a searching and fearless moral inventory of themselves realizing that a generally miserable disposition is the foundation of their being and that they are not happy unless they spread their misery around to others who have achieved greater success in life.

Step 5- Liberals must admit to God and themselves the exact nature of their wrongs which include censorship of free speech, unionization, gun control, socialist indoctrination in government education, welfare, entitlements, coddling of terrorists, appeasement of illegal alien, compassion for murderers, rapists and pedophiles, disdain for sanctity of marriage and general heterophobia.

Step 6- Liberals must be ready to have God remove all of these defects of character.

Step 7- Liberals must humbly ask God to remove their shortcomings.

Step 8- Liberals must make a list of all persons they have harmed and be willing to make amends to them. This list will be incredibly long, so be prepared to spend lots of time on this one.

Step 9- Liberals must make direct amends to all that they have harmed which would include anyone from whom the government routinely steals money from.

Step 10- Liberals must continually take personal inventory and when they are wrong promptly admit it. This includes support for censoring free speech, the Fairness Doctrine, gun control, illegal aliens, terrorists and criminals in general, gay marriage, pedophilia, NAMBLA, racism, unions, fascism, big government, taxes, propagandist education monopolies, tofu, hybrids, NOW,  Chavez, Castro, Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Carter, infanticide, welfare and entitlements.   

Step 11- Liberals must seek prayer and meditation to improve conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of God’s will for them and the power to carry that out while watching Fox News or listening to Neal Boortz.

 

George Sodini walked into an LA Fitness Center outside of Pittsburgh and began randomly shooting, killing four before ending his miserable life.   Rather than mourn for those who perished, liberals will immediately use their bully pulpit to use this as yet another example of the need to ban guns.

Remember, liberals really don’t care about anyone who died, just as they don’t care about you or I. Rather, they care about their agenda and their ongoing power grab in Washington. What better way to preserve power than to render the citizen’s powerless?   You see, the real reason why liberals want to ban guns is to ensure that the people, you and I, won’t have a means by which to take them out of power if they become too tyrannical. 

The liberal elitists in Washington may be many things, but stupid is not among them.   Rather, they are incredibly cunning and manipulative.   Look at their use of the phony global warming scam that has resulted in their winning the war on capitalism.   Their use of political correctness has rendered freedom of speech impotent in our nation. Look at their use of race baiting to promote their racist agenda while completely deflecting cries of racism to those who stand up for equality. Now they have their eyes set on guns. 

There are many in our nation who don’t like guns, but there is a huge difference between not liking something and wanting to ban something.   I don’t particularly care for cigarettes but the idea of banning them is ludicrous. A government that lives in fear of the people ensures liberty, while people who live in fear of the government ensures tyranny.   Ask yourself where we are today?

Using common sense, a very foreign concept to liberals, the tragedy in Pittsburgh would have occurred irrespective of the gun laws.   We have thousands of gun laws on the books already and the fact remains that the jurisdictions with the toughest laws also have the highest murder rates so clearly gun laws don’t work.   They never have and they never will. 

The tragedy in Pittsburgh was just that regardless of how the mayhem occurred.   The deeper issue is the ongoing deterioration of society and blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life perpetuated by liberals in their never ending quest for power.

With Obama’s popularity plummeting, it appears that he is resorting to the typical liberal tactics used to cover up their failings; bash Bush.   Claiming he inherited all of the current problems, he and his left wing cronies are once again lashing out at the former president. Interestingly, when Bush was in office unemployment was less than 5%; today it is more than 10%.   Perhaps it is time for liberals to look in the mirror and realize that liberalism will always fail. It failed under Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Mao and Carter just as it will fail under Obama.

Rather than telling us what to eat, which doctor to see and what kind of car to drive perhaps now is the time to craft some real solutions.   So just what are the liberals doing to fix the current economic woes? They are sneaking through “card check” legislation that will outlaw the ballot box in union elections, requiring employees to raise their hand in public which will subject them to intimidation if they vote against organizing.   They are trying to ram through healthcare, despite the irrefutable fact that socialized medicine has failed the world over.   They are pushing the so called “Fairness Doctrine” which is designed to silence conservative viewpoints.    They are sneaking through a bill that will grant amnesty to 13 million gate crashing criminal aliens. What they aren’t doing is providing any meaningful solutions to fix our problems.   No wonder their poll numbers are in the toilet, the very place their insidious and un-American legislation belongs.

Today Rasmussen released a poll in which 49% say that America’s best days are behind her. Only 38% think we have better times ahead.  That is a sad commentary on our society, but there is a silver lining in that this means that even some kool aid drinking Obamabots have realized the errors of their way and are rethinking the messiah’s ability to walk on water. 

The reality is that as long as liberals remain in power we will suffer tremendously.   With the monetizing of our debt at the fastest rate in history it is only a matter of time until inflation rears its ugly head.    Once the prices rise precipitously, the interest rates will have to be raised to reign in the cost escalation. Liberals don’t get it because most of them couldn’t pass a basic Economics 101 class.   While kicking the Pelosi/Reid/Kennedy crowd to the curb would be a good start, I’m actually rethinking my hopes that it would happen in 2010, as our economic misery will peak about a year after that and the media would most certainly blame Republicans if they somehow managed to take back Congress.   I want 100% of the blame for our misery, which is going to get A LOT worse, to be on the shoulders of liberals for generations to come. I want the public to be sooooooooooo angry that in 2012 Obama suffers the most humiliating defeat in history to a true conservative; not some middle of the road, nanny state, country club elitist. 

In the meantime, it’s time for us to do our duty as true patriots and share the gospel of what made America great; God, guns, family, economic freedom and individual liberty. It’s time that the government become fearful of the people, as that is the only true path to liberty.   This is precisely why liberals hate hearing the truth, because they understand that throughout history the only way to institute their tyrannical ideals is by indoctrinating and controlling the masses.   In the end, freedom can prevail but only in the event that we finally find a cure for liberalism, a disease that has cost more lives throughout history than all others combined.

I have been conspicuously absent from the blogs for one very good reason; to give credibility to my assessment of the Obama presidency.   When Obama took the oath of office 6 months ago, many on the right had already resigned themselves to the ultimate failure of this candidate while those on the left viewed him as a messiah who could do no wrong. I decided to sit on the sidelines to give the guy a chance; to make the case that an ideology that historically fails in every society in which it is tried could actually work here.

Now that he has had a full six months, the honeymoon is over. Obama came to power with promises of hope and change and has delivered on both.   We hope that our nation can survive the economic and social disaster that he and his extremely left wing Congress have created.   As a nation we have changed from one of prosperity and abundance to one of complacency and entitlements. In the eyes of socialists, Marxists and rogue dictators the world over Obama has been a resounding success. As for the rest of us; you know the ones who actually work for a living, he is an abysmal failure. 

As I have been sitting on the sidelines, I have also been taking notes so that an interim report card could be issued.   Here it is:

Economy F. Plain and simple, unemployment was less than 5% when Bush was in office. It is now 10% with nearly twenty states in double digits.   Michigan, a state wholly owned and operated by the Democratic National Committee and union thugs, leads the pack at 15%.   Detroit is nearly 40%.   If there was a grade lower than an F, I would give that to Obama. In short, Obamanomics a train wreck. 

Healthcare D-.   To propose a system of healthcare that has failed the world over is just plain stupid. It shows the naiveté of a president who is unfit for command.   Anyone with an ounce of business savvy knows that you don’t manage to exceptions. Liberals like to claim that there are 45 million uninsured, when the truth is that the real number is much smaller, especially when illegal aliens are excluded from the mix.  You know, criminals who shouldn’t be entitled to free healthcare in the first place. In addition, recent polling shows that 85% of Americans are satisfied with their healthcare.   It’s time for the government to learn their place, which would be somewhere beneath the untouchables in the Hindu caste system.

War on Terror C-.   While Obama gets an F on rhetoric, his actions speak louder than words. He proclaimed an end to Club Gitmo with a promise to bring terrorists to your backyard yet the terrorists remain in Cuba.   He claims to have ended water boarding, which certainly brings his grade down.  He sought to appease Muslims, yet we still have troops fighting for freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq.   While he gets a passing grade here, it will quickly turn to an F should an Islamic fascist commit an act of terror in the United States.

Foreign Policy F. You don’t go to another nation, let alone a Muslim nation, and apologize for the actions of the United States.   You don’t bow down to Muslim royalty and kiss there hand.   You don’t kowtow to the Euroweenie agenda. You don’t court the likes of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. Again, if there were a lower grade, Obama’s foreign policy would be a prime candidate.

Supreme Court D-. Sonia Sotomayor is a bad candidate, but not as bad as Obama could have done. She has a history of being liberal and a tendency towards being a judicial activist. Her views on gay marriage and killing children are relatively unknown and there is hope that her being Hispanic, a group known being socially conservative,  will have an influence on those and other social issues. After the racism extolled in her ruling against the New Haven firefighters it was hard not to give this nominee an F, but some consideration was given to her confirmation hearings. 

Overall this administration is on the brink of failure.   Government takeovers of the banks and auto industry certainly could most certainly be used to make the case that Obama has already failed.   If government takes over health care then failure is even more likely. If Democrats retain a majority in Congress in 2010 then failure is inevitable, as liberalism is the root cause of each and every problem facing us today. 

However, every once in a while there is a glimmer of hope.   The mere fact that liberals are fit to be tied on a number of fronts, such as Obama continuing to prohibit gays from openly serving in the military and Club Gitmo remaining open shows that Obama is not 100% kooky.   99% perhaps, but not 100%.  

We should all know, at least those of us with half a brain, that global warming is a hoax designed to create a perceived need for government. The agenda of global warming alarmists has never been about Mother Earth but rather how to take from those of us who produce and redistribute to life's losers. The following is just more proof that Al Gore and the rest of his liberal kook aid drinking kooks are full of it. The following is from http://www.coaps.fsu.edu/~maue/tropical/ Tropical cyclone (TC) activity worldwide has completely and utterly collapsed during the past 2 to 3 years with TC energy levels sinking to levels not seen since the late 1970s. This should not be a surprise to scientists since the natural variability in climate dominates any detectable or perceived global warming impact when it comes to measuring yearly integrated tropical cyclone activity. With the continuation (persistence) of colder Pacific tropical sea-surface temperatures associated with the effects of La Nina, the upcoming 2009 Atlantic hurricane season should be above average, as we saw in 2008. Nevertheless, since the Atlantic only makes up 10-15% of overall global TC activity each year (climatological average during the past 30 years), continued Northern Hemispheric and global TC inactivity as a whole likely will continue. As previously reported here and here at Climate Audit, and chronicled at my Florida State Global Hurricane Update page, both Northern Hemisphere and overall Global hurricane activity has continued to sink to levels not seen since the 1970s. Even more astounding, when the Southern Hemisphere hurricane data is analyzed to create a global value, we see that Global Hurricane Energy has sunk to 30-year lows, at the least. Since hurricane intensity and detection data is problematic as one goes back in time, when reporting and observing practices were different than today, it is possible that we underestimated global hurricane energy during the 1970s. See notes at bottom to avoid terminology discombobulation. Using a well-accepted metric called the Accumulated Cyclone Energy index or ACE for short (Bell and Chelliah 2006), which has been used by Klotzbach (2006) and Emanuel (2005) (PDI is analogous to ACE), and most recently by myself in Maue (2009), simple analysis shows that 24-month running sums of global ACE or hurricane energy have plummeted to levels not seen in 30 years. Why use 24-month running sums instead of simply yearly values? Since a primary driver of the Earth's climate from year to year is the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) acts on time scales on the order of 2-7 years, and the fact that the bulk of the Southern Hemisphere hurricane season occurs from October - March, a reasonable interpretation of global hurricane activity requires a better metric than simply calendar year totals. The 24-month running sums is analogous to the idea of "what have you done for me lately". During the past 6 months, extending back to October of 2008 when the Southern Hemisphere tropical season was gearing up, global ACE had crashed due to two consecutive years of well-below average Northern Hemisphere hurricane activity. To avoid confusion, I am not specifically addressing the North Atlantic, which was above normal in 2008 (in terms of ACE), but the hemisphere (and or globe) as a whole. The North Atlantic only represents a 1/10 to 1/8 of global hurricane energy output on average but deservedly so demands disproportionate media attention due to the devastating societal impacts of recent major hurricane landfalls. Why the record low ACE? During the past 2 years +, the Earth's climate has cooled under the effects of a dramatic La Nina episode. The Pacific Ocean basin typically sees much weaker hurricanes that indeed have shorter lifecycles and therefore -- less ACE . Conversely, due to well-researched upper-atmospheric flow (e.g. vertical shear) configurations favorable to Atlantic hurricane development and intensification, La Nina falls tend to favor very active seasons in the Atlantic (word of warning for 2009). This offsetting relationship, high in the Atlantic and low in the Pacific, is a topic of discussion in my GRL paper, which will be a separate topic in a future posting. Thus, the Western North Pacific (typhoons) tropical activity was well below normal in 2007 and 2008 (see table). Same for the Eastern North Pacific. The Southern Hemisphere, which includes the southern Indian Ocean from the coast of Mozambique across Madagascar to the coast of Australia, into the South Pacific and Coral Sea, saw below normal activity as well in 2008. Through March 12, 2009, the Southern Hemisphere ACE is about half of what's expected in a normal year, with a multitude of very weak, short-lived hurricanes. All of these numbers tell a very simple story: just as there are active periods of hurricane activity around the globe, there are inactive periods, and we are currently experiencing one of the most impressive inactive periods, now for almost 3 years. Bottom Line Under global warming scenarios, hurricane intensity is expected to increase (on the order of a few percent), but MANY questions remain as to how much, where, and when. This science is very far from settled. Indeed, Al Gore has dropped the related slide in his PowerPoint (btw, is he addicted to the Teleprompter as well?) Many papers have suggested that these changes are already occurring especially in the strongest of hurricanes, e.g. this and that and here, due to warming sea-surface temperatures (the methodology and data issues with each of these papers has been discussed here at CA, and will be even more in the coming months). The notion that the overall global hurricane energy or ACE has collapsed does not contradict the above papers but provides an additional, perhaps less publicized piece of the puzzle. Indeed, the very strong interannual variability of global hurricane ACE (energy) highly correlated to ENSO, suggests that the role of tropical cyclones in climate is modulated very strongly by the big movers and shakers in large-scale, global climate. The perceptible (and perhaps measurable) impact of global warming on hurricanes in today's climate is arguably a pittance compared to the reorganization and modulation of hurricane formation locations and preferred tracks/intensification corridors dominated by ENSO (and other natural climate factors). Moreover, our understanding of the complicated role of hurricanes with and role in climate is nebulous to be charitable. We must increase our understanding of the current climate's hurricane activity. Background: During the summer and fall of 2007, as the Atlantic hurricane season failed to live up to the hyperbolic prognostications of the seasonal hurricane forecasters, I noticed that the rest of the Northern Hemisphere hurricane basins, which include the Western/Central/Eastern Pacific and Northern Indian Oceans, was on pace to produce the lowest Accumulated Cyclone Energy or ACE since 1977. ACE is the convolution or combination of a storm's intensity and longevity. Put simply, a long-lived very powerful Category 3 hurricane may have more than 100 times the ACE of a weaker tropical storm that lasts for less than a day. Over a season or calendar year, all individual storm ACE is added up to produce the overall seasonal or yearly ACE. Detailed tables of previous monthly and yearly ACE are described below. The table does not include the Northern Indian Ocean, which can be deduced as the portion of the Northern Hemisphere total not included in the three major basins. Nevertheless, 2007 saw the lowest ACE since 1977. 2008 continued the dramatic downturn in hurricane energy or ACE. The following stacked bar chart demonstrates the highly variable, from year-to-year behavior of Northern Hemisphere (NH) ACE. The smaller inset line graph plots the raw data and trend (or lack thereof). Thus, during the past 60 years, with the data at hand, Northern Hemisphere ACE undergoes significant interannual variability but exhibits no significant statistical trend. So what to expect in 2009? Well, the last Northern Hemisphere storm was Typhoon Dolphin in middle December of 2008, and no ACE has been recorded so far. The Southern Hemisphere is below normal by just about any definition of storm activity (unless you have access to the Elias sports bureau statistic creativity department), and the season is quickly running out. With La Nina-like conditions in the Pacific, a persistence forecast of below average global cyclone activity seems like a very good bet. Now if only the Dow Jones index didn't correlate so well with the Global ACE lately... Notes: Hurricane is the term for Tropical Cyclone specific to the North Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and the Pacific Ocean from Hawaii eastward to the Mexican coast. Dear President Obama,

It’s been a week and everything is still the same. Where is all the change that you promised? Perhaps it was a campaign slogan or perhaps you just can’t deliver. Whatever it is, I think that perhaps there is a better solution.

As a conservative, otherwise known as a patriot, I had high hopes that perhaps you weren’t the Marxist that some claimed.   As an American, I prayed that perhaps you could bring our nation’s political divide to an end. To the contrary, we are now more polarized than ever.  

I know that we thought we could work it out, but it just hasn’t happened that way.   Our two ideological sides of America cannot, and will not ever agree on what is right, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile, chalk it up to irreconcilable differences, and go our separate ways.

We begin by equitably dividing up the country.   Certainly we can sit down and come to an agreement on what is fair. Obviously we start by giving you Michigan and Illinois because your fellow liberals have been the model of efficiency in each of those states.  Don't worry about the cold, I'm sure your global warming will take care of that. We will take the south since you never really liked us anyway. 

After we divvy up the land, the rest should be simple since liberals and conservatives have such distinct and disparate tastes. We don’t like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O’Donnell (You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them) …

We’ll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, gangbangers, homeboys, hippies, welfare moms, single moms, transvestites and illegal aliens. We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO’s, and rednecks. We’ll keep the bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.  We’ve got dibs on family values, since you never really cared for them anyway. You can have gay marriage and the pedophiles at NAMBLA. 

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and destroy any place that threatens our way of life. You can have the peaceniks, and war protesters.  Since you don't like Guantanamo Bay, we'll take the property and turn it into a resort.  You can have the occupants and maybe give them free room and board in the Lincoln Bedroom.  But remember, when they start blowing things up, don't come crying to us because all we'll say is "I told you so".   Well also go ahead and keep Israel as an ally and you can start a dialogue with your pals in North Korea, Venezuela and Cuba.

We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values and In God We Trust on our currency. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, Jane Fonda and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We’ll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.  You can give everyone healthcare, if you can find any practicing doctors. We’ll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We’ll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute Imagine, I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya, or We Are the World.

We’ll keep English as our official language and you can have Ebonics or whatever it is you’re teaching the younger generation these days.   We’ll practice trickle down economics, and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot.  Since it often so offends you we’ll keep our history, our name, our Constitution and our flag.
