Hey Arlen Specter, how’s that 2010 campaign looking? After watching his disastrous town hall meeting I'm thinking that the Republican turned Democrat has seen the last of his cushy job in Washington D.C. come the 2010 elections. Good riddance. 

In Georgia, a swastika was painted on Congressman David Scott’s office sign.   Of course Scott, a black Democrat, is using typical liberal race baiting rhetoric to justify his position on healthcare which he believes caused the vandalism. Could it be that the perpetrator was sending a message that the Nazi period in Germany was one of the most despicable times in history rivaled only by the liberal control in Washington, D.C.? While I don’t condone the vandalism, it is very easy to understand the pent up frustration being caused by Pelosi and her un-American ilk. Yes, supporting Marxist ideologies does make you un-American. 

In Missouri a woman warned Democrat Claire McCaskill that if the administration doesn’t let people vent their frustrations there will be a revolution.   The Democrats response “I don’t understand the rudeness”. Well Mrs. McCaskill neither did King George.  

Desperate to calm the public, the messiah himself spoke yesterday at what was reported to be a townhall with open and honest dialogue from the participants.   Right, like this administration does anything that isn’t completely planned and orchestrated. Just how stupid do they think we are?

All the while, the White House has set up a special website for Americans to snitch on family, friends and neighbors who don’t support socialized medicine.   What next, SS patrols to search our homes and businesses? Maybe the government can work to silence free speech? Oh, I forgot that’s already in the works with the insidious un-Fairness Doctrine and union card check. O.K., then it’s on to guns. Oops, they are already working on that as well.  Heaven forbid we speak our mind or defend our freedom!

It’s high time that Americans woke up from their Obama induced stupor and got mad. I hope they get mad as hell just as sure as I hope Obama’s socialist agenda is a miserable failure because then I can say “I told you so” to every uninformed soul who cast their vote for the most unqualified candidate to ever run for the highest office in the land. 

I just hope it’s not too late, because in slimy Chicago politics the elitist class always gets the last word, even if it means using mob thugs to carry out their dirty deeds.   The question is whether Chicago politics can fully take root outside of Cook County? Can the liberals succeed in abolishing the first and second Amendment which is truly what they want and must have in order to achieve Stalinesque control of our nation?  

We need to come together as a people to vote every member of Congress, Democrat or Republican, who supports socialist ideals out of office.   Let’s just hope they don’t declare our right to vote unconstitutional before next November.   With this administration actually making the Clinton administration look downright honest and wholesome nothing would surprise me.

I do believe that many of the sheeple in our midst are waking up from their Obama kool aid induced stupor to the reality that their chosen one really doesn’t walk on water.   I wonder how long it will take the Obama administration to start banning the airing of footage from the recent town hall meetings where a clearly riled up public is attacking Democrats on what has become a daily basis.

It seems that many of those who voted for Obama are realizing the truth to the old adage “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” For many of us, Obama was always viewed as being nothing more than the consummate politician who used the clout of the corrupt Chicago political machine to climb his way to power.   Many couldn’t see through his charade or simply were so disenchanted with George W. Bush, largely the result of media lies, that they would have voted for Osama Bin Laden if he were on the ballot. 

The reality is that Obama has done more to damage our nation in six months than most Presidents’ could do in an entire term, including Jimmy Carter! Our Nancy Pelosi/Harry Reid run Congress is wasting money like drunken sailors on everything from condoms for kindergartners to a clunker cash for Asian imports program.    Despite waging a war on Islamic fascism, the liberals now want to bring terrorists into our own back yards so we can sing kumbaya at Sunday barbecues.   However, you can forget the charcoal because that causes global warming, so cozy up to the picnic table for some tofu and sprouts. Oh, and that picnic table better not be from Wal-Mart; at least not until they force a public vote that mandates unionization. 

If you are not utterly sickened by what is transpiring in Washington, D.C., then you are part of the problem. Never in our history have we had elected leaders with so little regard for our nation and such blatant disrespect for our citizen’s. Our liberal leaders view  most (read majority) of our population as being stupid, which is precisely how they have gained their power in Washington.   As for the rest of us, liberals just plain hate us because we work for a living and see through their nonsensical nanny state agenda. 

The question is whether the constituents’ that put liberals in power will wake up before the next election? Fortunately the Democrat base has low voter efficacy and in most years won’t bother to pull themselves away from Jerry Springer long enough to cast a ballot.  That all changed with Obama, who used the thugs in ACORN to rig elections in cities from coast to coast, rendering voter turnout impotent. 

Now with ACORN set to run the census, we can pretty much be assured that the validity of our elections will lie somewhere between Iran and Venezuela.   But we have to remember that those of us with common sense still control vast expanses of the economy and it is up to us to fix what Obama and his cronies have created.   It will not be easy, but it can be done. It is critical that we get out en masse to not only vote, but to educate our ill informed friends who still fail to see through the façade of their messiah.  

Tyranny always fails and it will fail here, but remember it is up to us to ensure that we regain our economic freedom and individual liberties that many have surrendered to the federal government.

With Obama’s popularity plummeting, it appears that he is resorting to the typical liberal tactics used to cover up their failings; bash Bush.   Claiming he inherited all of the current problems, he and his left wing cronies are once again lashing out at the former president. Interestingly, when Bush was in office unemployment was less than 5%; today it is more than 10%.   Perhaps it is time for liberals to look in the mirror and realize that liberalism will always fail. It failed under Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Mao and Carter just as it will fail under Obama.

Rather than telling us what to eat, which doctor to see and what kind of car to drive perhaps now is the time to craft some real solutions.   So just what are the liberals doing to fix the current economic woes? They are sneaking through “card check” legislation that will outlaw the ballot box in union elections, requiring employees to raise their hand in public which will subject them to intimidation if they vote against organizing.   They are trying to ram through healthcare, despite the irrefutable fact that socialized medicine has failed the world over.   They are pushing the so called “Fairness Doctrine” which is designed to silence conservative viewpoints.    They are sneaking through a bill that will grant amnesty to 13 million gate crashing criminal aliens. What they aren’t doing is providing any meaningful solutions to fix our problems.   No wonder their poll numbers are in the toilet, the very place their insidious and un-American legislation belongs.

Today Rasmussen released a poll in which 49% say that America’s best days are behind her. Only 38% think we have better times ahead.  That is a sad commentary on our society, but there is a silver lining in that this means that even some kool aid drinking Obamabots have realized the errors of their way and are rethinking the messiah’s ability to walk on water. 

The reality is that as long as liberals remain in power we will suffer tremendously.   With the monetizing of our debt at the fastest rate in history it is only a matter of time until inflation rears its ugly head.    Once the prices rise precipitously, the interest rates will have to be raised to reign in the cost escalation. Liberals don’t get it because most of them couldn’t pass a basic Economics 101 class.   While kicking the Pelosi/Reid/Kennedy crowd to the curb would be a good start, I’m actually rethinking my hopes that it would happen in 2010, as our economic misery will peak about a year after that and the media would most certainly blame Republicans if they somehow managed to take back Congress.   I want 100% of the blame for our misery, which is going to get A LOT worse, to be on the shoulders of liberals for generations to come. I want the public to be sooooooooooo angry that in 2012 Obama suffers the most humiliating defeat in history to a true conservative; not some middle of the road, nanny state, country club elitist. 

In the meantime, it’s time for us to do our duty as true patriots and share the gospel of what made America great; God, guns, family, economic freedom and individual liberty. It’s time that the government become fearful of the people, as that is the only true path to liberty.   This is precisely why liberals hate hearing the truth, because they understand that throughout history the only way to institute their tyrannical ideals is by indoctrinating and controlling the masses.   In the end, freedom can prevail but only in the event that we finally find a cure for liberalism, a disease that has cost more lives throughout history than all others combined.

Liberals in Congress are apparently working to pass new taxes to combat obesity. Go figure, the same group that created the entitlement class with food stamps, welfare checks and free satellite TV to watch reruns of Jerry Springer now wants to tax the very constitutents who put them in office.   Are they afraid that the folks from whom they routinely purchase votes will get so fat and lazy that they won’t be able to make it to the voting booth? Maybe they should give them free scooters from the Scooter Store!

According to recent reports, the CDC is working closely with Congressional liberals to push through a three cent tax on soda. Seriously, do they really thing three cents is going to have any impact on obesity in America. My guess is that this move is part of a bigger ploy to further take over greater aspects of our lives. 

Liberals created the insidously un-American concept of political correctness to control what we say. They are pushing laws to ban our right to defend our homes and families from criminals.   The Fairness Doctrine is being pushed as a way to silence dissent on talk radio.   They now own our banks and our auto makers. They soon will tell us what doctor we can see; when, where and how often.   Now they want to tell us what we can eat. Imagine another four years of Obama’s hope and change:

Pizza Guy: Thank you for calling Papa John’s, can I have your phone number?

Pizza Guy: What can I get for you tonight?

You: I’ll have two large pizzas, one with the works and the other with pepperoni.

Pizza Guy: Sorry, according to the CDC records you have high cholesterol. How about a salad.

You: No, I really want a pizza. 

Pizza Guy: No can do, the government says you are too fat. I am only authorized to sell you a salad.

You: Fine, I’ll just call Domino’s.

Pizza Guy: You can’t do that. It’s now in the system that you attempted to order fatty foods and if you try again you could be arrested by the food police.

What truly is amazing are the sheeple who can’t see through this charade, where Stalin and Marx have been reincarnated in the form of the Obamamessiah who seemingly walks on water to the dumb and ignorant in our midst. At any other time in history the actions we are seeing in Washington would have resulted in an all out revolt by the people. Then again, what we are witnessing is the result of 200 years of government using education as a tool to indoctrinate the masses.

With 2008 officially marking the death of investigative journalism in America, we are now forced to get our news from overseas.   According the Pravda, a paper once more in the tank for Marxism than the New York Times, the world is on the brink of entering another Ice Age.   Hold the phone; ice age. What the heck are you talking about? Don’t you mean global warming, the greatest science fiction hoax since Orwell penned 1984. Oh wait, 1984 is coming to fruition as our government seizes our property and usurps our rights.

As it turns out, there is no such thing as global warming. There never has been and never will be. Sure the earth goes in cycles, as does every other planet in our galaxy and probably in the universe for that matter.   We see temperatures go up, we see them go down. We see increased hurricane activity and different levels of arctic ice.   What we don’t see is any correlation between man and planet other than what the liberals and their Spielbergesque writers in the mainstream media can conjure up. 

We all know that liberals hate facts because the truth so often gets in the way of their wild imagination.   We know that throughout history the world has seen periods of time when ice covered masses such as Greenland were arable farmland.   We have seen other times when the sub tropics were covered in ice as wooly mammoths had their way with the liberal elite. 

According to a growing group of scientists the world is set to enter another Ice Age.   Didn’t Newsweek call this in 1979? That was before their pipedream of global warming; sort of like Obama being accepting of public funds before he was against it.   Ah yes, the wonderful world of liberalism where hypocrisy is a badge of honor.

Long term data indicates that the tilt of the earth, the shape of the orbit and the Precession of the Equinoxes have come into an alignment that gives rise to valid, not Al Gore like, concerns that earth is poised to plunge into an interglacial era, or ice age. 

The astronomical theory of ice age formation was first brought forth by mathematician Joseph Adhemar in 1842 and was adopted by Czech mathematician Milutin Milankovich to present his findings in the 20’s and 30’s. These facts, which run counter to liberal fiction, were published in  1976 by renowned scientist John Imbrie.

During this same period, junk science was brought forth by Carl Sagan to suggest that greenhouse gasses trapped in the earth’s atmosphere would not only prevent another ice age, but would lead to global warming.   Of course we know that there were some years with above average temperatures that have occurred since the 1970’s, but we also know that every year of the 21^st century has been colder than 1998, the baseline for the great global warming hoax. In fact, the snowpack in the northern hemisphere is the deepest since 1966 and the temperatures the coldest since 2001.

Of course the main flaw in the global warming theory is that it ignores temperature data from the previous million years while selectively utilizing data from a couple years in the 90’s that prove to be convenient.   In addition, the global warming lie conveniently forgets to interpret solar activity, which has a direct and proven correlation to temperature on Earth, as well as all of the other planets that, while lacking SUV’s, did have a similar spike in temperature a decade ago but are now plunging into an ice age. 

Wow, just two short weeks until the Messiah parts the skies with peace on earth and goodwill towards man. No more Hamas rocket attacks on innocent Isreali kids, no more gate crashing illegals killing innocent Americans, no more Islamic fascists turning airplanes into projectiles.   The peace and harmony will make me forever grateful to those who had the foresight to bow down to the chosen one. 

Of course we know that none of this will happen as the risk of violence continues to increase in direct correlation to our coddling of terrorists, who for those who attend government schools, are radical Muslims.   Yes, they look different and they dress different, just don’t let your local government academician or bureaucrat hear you saying that aloud. 

Along with this risk of violence abroad will be the increased risk at home, as our intelligence agencies are gutted in the dawn of the Obamanation.   Terrorists and illegals will be given free reign to do as they please to the American public and those who have been basking in the sun at Club Gitmo will now be entitled to their day in our kangaroo courts, where they will be released on their own recognizance to build bombs and slash throats to their hearts content.

If they are lucky, they can sidle up to the trough and maybe get their own terrorist bailout. I mean, we are only at one trillion dollars for this so called stimulus package. Why not give away a little more to our enemies to blow up bridges and roads that, according to liberals, are in great need of repair anyway. Surely we would save a lot on demolition costs and we wouldn’t even have to deal with union road crews who seemingly just stand around and do nothing.

One trillion dollars! Can you even fathom that amount? Did you know that it would take 31,500 years to count to a trillion one second at a time?   Did you know that one trillion dollars in pennies would weigh 310 million tons, which is about the combined weight of all the pregnant illegals between East LA and El Paso.   One trillion dollars in pennies would rise 98.6 million miles into the sky, more than the distance from the earth to the sun. One trillion dollars in pennies laid side by side would be more than 14,000 square miles which is larger than Delaware AND Hawaii, the purported birthplace of the messiah, combined. 

One trillion dollars will break the back of our nation and nobody seems to care, probably because the average government educated moron lacks the intellectual wherewithal to realize the damage that it will inflict. After all, it was these same morons that gave rise to Obama, as he spread his wings and soared amidst the columns of the ancient Greek temple.  

Keep in mind that this trillion dollars is on top of trillions of dollars in debt from the failed socialist security ponzi scheme. It is on top of medicare and Medicaid. It is on top of the inevitable trillions that will be tied up in the government takeover and ultimate destruction of our healthcare system.  

The kind of debt that gave rise to entire economic conundrum we are currently in will pale in comparison to the debt that the government is going to put on the backs of our children, their children and their children’s children. This is the kind of debt that no nation can possible survive.  

Thomas Paine once said that “Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one.” To describe our government today as anything but intolerable would be an understatement of epic proportions.   We are witnessing, for the first time in our history, a government that is truly drunk with power and is using every means possible to silence the truth while passing a sentence of death on our nation.

Government schools are raping the minds of our youth while the media fills the airwaves with lies and distortions in lock step with their liberal allies in Washington who seek to undermine the foundation upon which our nation was founded.   Liberal special interests are working in unison with the courts towards the obsolescence of real marriage, American culture and private property. Liberals in congress have an agenda calling for the banning of free speech and limiting the right to bear arms to only criminals, illegal aliens and terrorists.  

The stage is set for some really bad things to happen to our nation unless people wake up from their nanny state entitlement stupor.   The party is over and it’s time for those of us with any intelligence to make a difference.  

Most certainly, for those of us over thirty, indifference would be the easy way out. Let our children deal with the inevitable pain where suffering and likely violence will arise out of the congressional negligence that is occurring today.   But, to quote Thomas Paine one more time, “If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, so that my children may have peace.”

Our founding fathers lived by these words.   While they were forced to pick up guns, against the will of the ignorant and uninformed way back when, we are not there (yet). We have the ability to throw Congress out of office and it is something that must be done in 2010.   Sure, there will be damage done to the fiber of our nation in the interim by the careless, reckless and indifferent liberals who have turned our nation in a banana republic where Senate seats are for sale, judges are for hire and government contracts depend not on cost or benefit but rather who you know.   

If the GOP were smart, which they have proven not to be over the past eight years, they will seize this opportunity.   They will point out each and every aspect of the culture of corruption, hypocrisy and sedition that are the foundation of the modern day Democrats.  

Russian professor Igor Panarin has suggested that the United States is on the verge of collapse.   He initially made this prediction 10 years ago, and this week granted an interview to IZVESTIA this past Monday where he reiterated his dire outlook.

I believe that there is a lot of credence to what Panarin is saying for several reasons. First, our dollar is not backed by anything. Until the 1970’s, our dollar was backed by gold.   However, going off the gold standard left us with dollars that were realistically backed by nothing but hot air and our reputation as the world financial leader. 

Second, our debt as recently as the 1980’s was non-existent.   When Panarin made his first prediction of the demise of America in 1998, our debt was $2 trillion.   Today our debt is $11 trillion.   I would ask you, is this a house of cards ready to fall? 

Third, we are seeing some of our largest, oldest and most respected banks either bankrupt, on the verge of bankruptcy or in government receivership.   This crisis, while initially the fault of the federal government, is spreading like a plague throughout the private sector.   The question is whether or not there is a cure. American’s put their stock in the rhetoric of an Obama administration, so the reality is there is no cure.    

Panarin goes on to suggest that America will break up into multiple parts, or nations.  Historically, the average life expectancy of any free society is about two hundred years. We are well beyond that, and arguably are no longer the free society that we once were.  

The political divide in our nation has become increasingly polarized with northeast and west coast paradigms that are extremely different than the southern and western regions of our nation.    There are currently more than two dozen secessionist movements underway, and it is likely that one or more of these will ultimately succeed. 

For the past fifty years we have watched our largest cities deteriorate, as jobs moved overseas and increasing taxes, high crime and lousy schools forced the achievers to the suburbs.   The result has been inner city chaos with many cities either in or headed for bankruptcy.  

If the Big Three go under, what will that do to an already decimated Michigan economy? If the banks go under, where will that leave New York or San Francisco? Panarin suggests that the demise of these cities will result in 6 distinct nations forming in what was once the United States. The west coast, the northeast, the western states, Texas, the south and the middle part of the nation.  

I don’t necessarily disagree that this will eventually happen, although the alignment of these new nations may be somewhat different.   In all likelihood, a west coast alliance is a good bet given the shared propensity for socialist idealism in California, Washington and Oregon. There will be a southwest alliance as the result of the reconquista, or retaking of the land that illegal aliens seek to procure, called Aztlan. The reformation of the south, with boundaries similar to the Confederate States of America would bring together states with similar religious values and customs.   The northeast has long held a worldview much different than the rest of America, and like the west would foster a new government based upon socialism.   The Midwest and northern tier of states with their ties to Canada, as well as farming and manufacturing would likely evolve.  As for Hawaii and Alaska, they may each achieve the independence that many residents already seek.

Will this happen in our life? I would put the odds at better than 50/50 that we will see a change in the boundaries of what we consider the United States in the next fifty years.   The polarization amongst the electorate is indicative of a cultural civil war already being waged.   The election of Barack Obama has resulted in purchases of guns reaching record levels; meaning that our cultural civil war could become much more if the direction of our nation is not altered. 

Arguably, now more than ever, is the time to step up to support real American values of hard work, self reliance and rugged individualism.   The people with these values will be the ones who capitalize and benefit from whatever is going to happen.   Having an escape strategy is not a bad idea, although any destabilization of our domestic economy will have negative ripples throughout the world.  

The life cycle of any free society involves eight phases.   The society begins by breaking the shackles of bondage and moving to spiritual faith. It then moves from faith to great courage.   Then comes liberty, followed by abundance.   The abundances leads to complacency which turns to apathy. This apathy results in dependence and inevitably back to bondage. As you consider the predictions of Panarin, give some thought to where we are as a society. My best guess is that we are somewhere between apathy and dependence.   Considering the election of Obama, I would lean towards the latter. 

As the government takes over businesses, threatens to silence free speech, ban guns and seize our 401k plans, it would appear that bondage is within reach.   Consider the words and predictions of Panarin, brush up on your 18^th and 19^th century U.S history and then come to the realization that history repeats itself. It always has and it always will.

A tragedy happened late last night when the United States of America passed away.   The nation that stood as a beacon of light on a hill of hope is no longer. The light has been extinguished and the hill transformed into a smoldering mound of hopelessness and despair as the votes of the sheep have turned the land of opportunity, once regarded for self reliance and rugged individualism into a nanny state where hard work and success are now regarded as criminal.    

Think of how low our nation has stooped in this election.   Can you imagine our parent’s or their parent’s generation electing a president so woefully inexperienced and radical? By his own admission, Barack Obama’s mentors have included Franklin Davis Marshall, an avowed communist, William Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist, Jeremiah Wright, a racist and anti-Semitic preacher, Rashid Khalidi, an Islamic fascist and Tony Rezko, a convicted mobster. 

For the first time in my adult life I am not proud of my country, rather I am disgusted at the complete and utter idiocy of the millions of government educated fools who cast their vote for someone who lacks both the character and the credibility to serve in our nations highest office.  Make no mistake, I am always proud of true American values and those who embody the real America.  However, it is hard to have pride in the economically illiterate masses who have no clue of the true meaning of being an American or the imminent danger to our nation posed by their uninformed vote.  For the first time in history we have a president who has no executive experience, no leadership experience and virtually no legislative accomplishments; but at least his angry and bitter wife can finally be proud of her country, which isn’t our country.   We have a president whose career has consisted of being a community organizer, working with radical special interest groups such as ACORN, a group notorious for voter fraud that in all likelihood played a role in stealing yesterday’s election.

Barack Obama doesn’t like to be cast as a socialist, but that is precisely what he is.   In his own words, he believes in spreading the wealth around.   In the words of Karl Marx, his philosophy is from each according to his abilities, to each according to their means.    His beliefs have been called many things throughout history.   Hitler called them change, Mao called them change, Stalin called them change, Castro called them change, Chavez called them change and now Barack Hussein Obama has called them change. 

What exactly is this change? For the past two years we never heard any details of what his change will entail.   I realize that details are a minor inconvenience, but so is the preservation of our individual liberties and economic freedom.   We know that his change involves confiscation of our wealth and property for the sole purposes of redistribution and expansion of government.   We also know that the young, the dumb and the uninformed gave him a pass to do just that in hopes that he would pay off their mortgages and keep their gas tanks filled. 

Now it is time that we hold him accountable for all of his promises.   In fact, I am sending a monthly invoice for Washington with the expectation that I get a blank check in the mail as a monthly stipend, for it is not fair that I have to work and provide for my family.   I expect the government to pay my mortgage, pay off my car, pay my credit card bills, put food on the table, pay for my cable, cell phone and Blockbuster rentals.   I also expect a monthly stipend to blow as I please on liquor and cigarettes. Not providing this to each and every American makes Obama a liar, as this was what he has promised to do.  

Will he live up to his promises? The answer is absolutely not, as his campaign was as much of a fraud and a sham as he.   Rather he will punish those who can and reward those who can’t. The silver lining is that Obama is transparent, his agenda entirely predictably and the results a proven failure. The next two years will be an economic disaster, but we can sacrifice 770 days if the light at the end of the tunnel is the inevitable extinction of the domestic liberal whose agenda is certain to result in an implosion of epidemic proportions.

The average life expectancy of a free society is approximately 200 years.   Our nation has celebrated freedom for 232 years, although it can be argued this virtue, once an embodiment of our nation, is on life support today.   As the young, the dumb and the uninformed head out to cast their vote for their messiah, I ask you to decide where we are in the cycle of freedom.

Let’s go back to the Stamp Act of 1765 and the Townsend Act of 1767, both moves by the British government to increase taxation on the colonists.   Some colonists, but not most, were angered.   In fact, the anger boiled over in 1773 in an act known as the Boston Tea Party.    Arguably, this was the first move by the colonists, or our forefathers, to restore freedom to their land.  

Clearly we are in a similar set of circumstances today, with an increasingly intrusive government that will have no choice but to increase taxes.   In fact, I will bet my paycheck that we have a 100% chance of seeing a tax increase put forth by the Democrat controlled congress in the next twelve months that will impact everyone who works.   The only chance of a veto is John McCain who sadly, due to the vote of the nanny state portion of the electorate, will be nowhere near the White House.  

Let’s look back at history, for it is the past that foretells the future. In 1773 our nation entered the first phase of a free society as they broke from bondage and moved to spiritual faith, devising a scheme to create one nation under God.   In 1776 the founders moved from spiritual faith to great courage as they picked up arms against the British.    They moved from courage to liberty over the next decade culminating on September 17, 1787, with the signing of the Constitution.  

As our nation embraced liberty, the masses recognized the courage of the few who had risked their freedom, fortunes and lives to bring prosperity to all, which took us to the next phase of our society; abundance.   Over the past two hundred years we became a nation of great abundance which unfortunately led to complacency.   Simply put, we got fat and happy and took our eye off the ball which allowed the government to go unchecked, as a result of the next phase which is apathy. 

Unfortunately, this apathy has led many in our nation into a state of dependence.   The dependence began in the Great Depression, with more and more handouts.   But it is plausible that this dependence goes back even further, to the creation of government schools, which have been used to brainwash and indoctrinate our youth into an acceptance of government control.    This dependence has grown greater as government used Great Society programs to destroy the black family.   They now seek to control our health and well being.   There is no doubt that we are in a full fledged state of dependence which is the next to last phase of any free society.

The final phase is bondage, where the government takes from those who can and gives to those who can’t.   Some call it spreading the wealth around, Karl Marx called it from each according to their abilities to each according to their means.   Throughout history it has been called Marxism, socialism, communism, fascism and today in the United States it is called liberalism.   There is no difference, bondage is bondage and we are now faced with the very situation from which we emerged in the 1770’s.

Back then folks like Adams, Jefferson, Washington, Revere, Franklin and Paine were considered out of the mainstream.   They were viewed by liberals in much the same way as Boortz, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and millions of fellow conservatives are viewed by liberals today.   Liberals have always hated freedom and demonized those who sought to protect it.   Freedom takes away the power of liberals to control our lives which is the scenario we are once again faced with. Remember, the only greater threat to our freedom than Islamic fascism is domestic liberalism.  

The popularity of someone as unqualified and radical as B. Hussein Obama should call into question the intellect and fundamental acceptance of freedom of each and every person who casts a vote his way.   Put aside his associations with unrepentant terrorists, convicted mobsters, racist preachers and anti-Semitic fascists and look at his views. He loathes our Constitution, the framework of our society, and will appoint judges to undermine this document.   He is the embodiment of everything hard working Americans are against, yet he may very well be our president. 

As we go to the polls today, it is time to understand that voting should be an IQ 80 thing. Look around you and ask yourself how many of those casting ballots know the name of their Congressman, a Supreme Court judge or even our first president. In every state in America one must pass a test to drive, yet anyone can cast their vote which is far more dangerous to our freedom.    Perhaps it is time that we realize that voting, like driving, is a privilege. There is no Constitutional guarantee of the right to vote (Bush v. Gore, 2000) and it is time that we put an end to that myth before we are faced with having a choice of having to live on our knees or die on our feet.

John McCain may not have the eloquence of B. Hussein Obama, but his acceptance speech had substance, something grossly lacking when the Chosen One stood before the Greek columns just one week ago.   What John McCain lacks in oratorical skills he certainly made up for in ideology, achievement and vision.   He clearly has differentiated himself from the Obama campaign which is proving to be more of the same failed tax and spend liberalism. 

I was particularly impressed that McCain took on the failing government schools.   While Obama and his fellow liberals see the solution as giving the unions more power, McCain wants to end union power and put control where it belongs; with parents.   McCain spoke of blacks getting equal access to schools and insightfully pointed out that this really isn’t success if that access is to a failing school.   The unions have got to be scared to death of John McCain because his plan to give power to the people will result in the destruction of the largest union in America.   That, my friends, is a good thing. 

It was interesting to see how McCain stepped up to admit that Republicans have failed in Washington because they let Washington change them.   It takes a real man to admit when he was wrong, which Barack Appollo Obama refuses to do when discussing the highly successful troop surge which he voted against. While many conservatives, myself included, don’t agree with McCain on every issue it is growing ever more difficult to not admire him for his courage and independence. Again, this is a good thing that is going to really hurt liberals this fall.  

The picture was painted of a man who wants to go to Washington to fix a broken system who is running against the status quo.   John McCain is something of a renegade in today’s politics which is a stark contrast to The Messiah, a picture perfect empty suit created by the Democrat political machine that has run organized corruption and crime in Chicago for decades.   Obama is fed his talking points like a baby is fed from a bottle. He reads his masterfully scripted soaring rhetoric from a teleprompter as if he were auditioning for a Hollywood movie.   Despite this irrefutable fact, he has millions of sheep following him to the shining light at the end of the tunnel.   Sadly his followers are too ignorant to recognize that the light is a train that will decimate our economy and our nation.  

Obama is finally being asked the tough questions that the mainstream media has refused to ask for the last two years.   It is coming to light that Obama was a senator for 143 days when he announced his run for presidency. While he has written two memoirs he has never brought forth meaningful legislation.    America now knows that his thin resume consists of an elitist Ivy league education and activism as a race baiting community organizer.   In other words, he has done nothing worthwhile in his entire life but according to US magazine is happily married. That would be to a woman who has never been proud of her nation. 

So from one small town American who clings to my guns and religion to another it is time that we do the job the media refuses to do.   We all know people who are economically illiterate and politically uninformed.   We need to reach out to those people and explain what an Obama presidency will mean to the future of our nation.   We need to challenge them to explain why they support a candidate with less experience than Sarah Palin had while running the PTA.   We need to openly question Obama's associations with racist reverends, racist organizations, communist sympathizers and unrepentent terrorists.  If people are challenged to think, they will inevitably get the picture. 

John McCain is promising tax cuts, Obama tax increases.   McCain wants to win the war on Islamic fascism, Obama wants to surrender.   McCain wants to drill here and now as well as take an all of the above approach to energy independence; Obama wants to transfer our wealth to rogue nations who hate our guts.   McCain wants to open up new markets for goods and services; Obama wants more government regulation and less economic freedom.   McCain’s plans will expand our economy which will result in more government revenue, lower taxes and more jobs.   Obama will raise taxes out of a misguided sense of fairness and class envy which will reduce government revenue, contract the economy and result in jobs being sent overseas.  

Once Americans are presented with the facts, inconvenient as they may be for liberals, they will make the right choice.   Certainly there will be those amongst us who choose to remain economically illiterate and the reality is they would vote for Osama Bin Laden if he had a D after his name.   What they are getting instead is Obama Bin Biden.   You tell me, what’s the difference?

By most accounts, the speech by Sarah Palin was an overwhelming success.   Quite honestly, that is an understatement as this candidate hit the ball out of the park.   For having no experience, as the media claims, she stood in front of an audience of millions and wowed people from coast to coast. 

There was no soaring rhetoric, no Hollywood props and no stadium filled with kool aid drinking kooks.   Rather, there was one woman who got into politics for all of the right reasons taking on an establishment filled with politicians who got into politics for all of the wrong reasons. 

At times she was witty, at times charming and at times brilliant.   She mixed a tale of family with a tale of success that every sane person in America can relate to.   She is a mother who got into the PTA to fix the schools.  She got into elected leadership to fix a town and then a politically corrupt state.   The reality is her executive experience in the PTA is more extensive than anything B. Hussein Obama has ever done in his life.  The fact that she is now governor of the largest state in the union should take the experience issue off the table as Obama’s lack thereof pales in comparison. 

The reason that Americans are flocking to Sarah Palin is because she is one of us.  She is not an Ivy League educated elitist or member of the college debate team.  She is a gritty woman from Middle America with Middle American values.  Like those of us who share her values, she is proud of her nation; not for the first time in her adult life but each and every second of each and every day. 

Considering the values and common interests that Palin shares with the real Americans who live east of the Sierras and west of the Hudson, I guess it should come as no surprise that the media despises her just as they despise you and I.   There hypocrisy and double standard is becoming more and more evident as they assail Palin for her lack of experience yet have never raised that issue with regard to Obama.   They have questioned Palin’s involvement in the firing of a state trooper who just so happened to be tasering her nephew with state issued weapons but they have never asked Obama about his associations with racists reverends and unrepentant terrorists.  

The media has done everything in their power to assassinate the character of Sarah Palin and her entire family.   They have libelously assaulted her teenage daughter and continue to report a DUI that her husband had 22 years ago, which by the way was about the same time that Obama was abusing cocaine and marijuana.   What next, front page stories of the Palin’s dog getting a citation for violating a leash law? 

The attacks will continue to rise because the apple cart of the liberal establishment has been turned upside down.   Feminists, who years ago burned bras for the right to gain access to what Palin has achieved are beside themselves because she bucked their liberal agenda.   Rather than relying on government set asides and handouts, she earned her success with hard work and determination, two very evil concepts in the world of liberalism.  

Liberals have cause for concern because their messiah may no longer be a certainty.   They are now faced with a young, articulate and attractive woman who will shatter the glass ceiling that has kept feminists in their place.   The reason the glass will now shatter is because Palin is not a feminist with a radical agenda.   She is one of us who American men will defend because she reminds us of our wives, daughters, sisters and mothers.  She has the qualities that have always been lacking in the feminist movement.   She understands that respect is earned and is not some type of set aside program.  She realizes that Washington is broken and to the dismay of liberals she is going to fix it.   She recognizes that rugged individualism and self reliance, not higher taxes and more government, is what truly made America great.  

It is almost humorous to watch the mainstream media coming completely unhinged over Sarah Palin.   Certainly there is an element of left wing bias as any McCain running mate would have faced intense scrutiny and tough questions from the very folks who have given Obama and his sordid history a complete pass.   More concerning is the overt sexism that dogged Hillary in the spring and has become even more prevalent today. 

Once again we are witnessing the hypocrisy that has become the calling card of liberals who supposedly stand up for the oppressed females.   After all, wasn’t it liberals who created the concept of feminism which created a sense of being and self importance for women, in particular ugly women? 

Sarah Palin embodies all of the reasons that feminism has failed.   She was a star athlete and beauty queen who married her high school sweetheart and then challenged the good ol’ boy network of Alaskan politics.   She did this without the help of NOW or the radical feminist agenda.   Rather, she is a proud wife and mother and lifelong member of the NRA.   She has achieved the feminist utopia without being a radical, left wing liberal which is precisely why she is being tarnished.  

Sarah Palin has become the Clarence Thomas of 2008.   If you recall, there were similar smears against Thomas by civil rights groups because he wasn’t black enough. Of course these same hypocrites are in the tank for Obama who is only half as black as Clarence Thomas. The difference is Obama supports their self serving agenda of race baiting politics unlike Clarence Thomas who supported freedom and individualism. 

It will be interesting to see how these attacks escalate as Palin tells us her life story which will resonate with voters in states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan.   The media will certainly continue to challenge her experience without acknowledging the hypocrisy of never mentioning Obama’s lack thereof.   They will mistakenly turn this into a race of a number one against a number two and will place race over sex which is a big mistake in a nation that is only 12% black but 51% female.  

Many Hillary supporters will turn out to vote for Palin because of the historical context of this election. Regardless of party affiliation, shattering the glass ceiling is something that is now within their grasp.   Making matters worse for Democrats, this VP candidate may have sealed up the white male vote, in particular union members who will likely buck the edicts of the union bosses and cross over to vote for the GOP ticket.      

What Palin brings to the table is a political paradigm from outside the beltway. She may not have the years of experience of governing that Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan brought with them when elected but she does have common sense and sound judgment.  She has experience governing the largest state in the nation, bordered on the east by Canada and the west by Russia, which is certainly more experience than B. Hussein Obama has as a community organizer.   

Only time will tell if the GOP can parlay the current energy crisis into success this November, but as it stands now it is their only chance.   The mainstream media and Congressional Democrats have done a tremendous job in a assassinating the character of President Bush while concurrently tarnishing the Republican brand.   The moveon.org Democrats are effectively leading a deaf, dumb and blind electorate down a path towards nanny state socialism that may come to a screeching halt as even the most economically illiterate Americans understand the pain at the pump.

Nancy Pelosi is refusing to allow a vote on offshore drilling because she knows full well that many in her party will break ranks with her to support what America wants and needs. If this happens before November, the GOP can effectively pin the Democrats with the label as the party of energy dependence. They are the party that would rather send money to terrorist nations than keep it at home. There continued refusal to exploit our domestic oil resources which are four times the known reserves of Saudi Arabia could very well be their death knell this fall. 

It is time that the GOP focuses more on this. Taking over Congress was a start, but how many Americans really know that the Democrats left town for their summer break while sticking the rest of us with high gas prices? The GOP needs to demand that George Bush call Congress into a special session.   The Republicans then need to refuse to fund a continuation of government as their budget expires at the end of September. They need a radical departure from the status quo, as that will translate to victory this fall. What they need are bold ideas that will cause Americans to sit back and recognize the havoc the moveon.org Democrats have wrought on our nation and our economy since their election in 2006. 

The undeniable reality is that our economy was strong during the majority of the Bush years.  After inheriting the Clinton/Gore recession in 2000, Bush immediately implemented tax cuts which improved the economy.   Even after a devastating impact from 9/11, further tax cuts put us on the right track. Housing values skyrocketed, energy was cheap, inflation and unemployment were low. The only common denominator that has changed during the Bush years was the introduction of liberals to Congress.

All doubt about media bias has now been erased after the Treason Times refused to print an editorial penned by John McCain.   This editorial was in response to the New York Times publishing an article by B. Hussein Obama entitled “My Plan for Iraq” or affectionately known as “Surrendering to my relatives in the Taliban”. 

In his editorial, John McCain wrote, “I am dismayed that he never talks about winning the war—only of ending it... if we don't win the war, our enemies will. A triumph for the terrorists would be a disaster for us. That is something I will not allow to happen as president.” According to Treason Times Op-ed editor and former Clinton staffer David Shipley, “It would be terrific to have an article from Senator McCain that mirrors Senator Obama's piece.” In other words, express cowardice, defeatism and surrender and you get printed but dare to be a real American and a patriot and face censorship.

The actions of the Times, a bastion of liberal elitism, is once again showing the evil side of liberal fascism, where dissent is silenced in a fashion reminiscent of Stalin, Hitler and Mao.   Couple this with the Fairness Doctrine, being rammed through Congress by anti-freedom left wing radicals and you will begin to recognize the true colors of liberals who loathe the First Amendment, which is so often used to refute their lunacy. 

Certainly it is no secret that facts remain the greatest enemy to liberalism, which is perhaps the motivating factor behind the Treason Times censorship.   It is no secret that the mainstream media is in the tank for Obama, who is arguably the most fatally flawed candidate in the history of our nation. But apparently that doesn’t matter to the average voter who is either really, really stupid or just plain uniformed or a combination of both. 

While John McCain is certainly not the best candidate ever put forth, he is hands down superior to a man counts among his associates a racist pastor, a former terrorist and a convicted land developer.   What Americans fail to realize is that an Obama presidency will serve to enable and foster more liberal fascism that seeks to silence the affluent and successful while coddling criminals, illegal alien’s, elitist academics and just plain losers in life.  

We have witnessed liberalism destroy a great number of society’s throughout history and it would behoove us to avoid being next.    There is no doubt that an Obama presidency will result in the implosion of our already fragile economy.   He has stated that he will raise taxes and has no intention of making us energy independent. He is counting down the days until our surrender to Islamic fascists.   He is intent on destroying our healthcare system by placing it in the hands of unaccountable government bureaucrats who have already bankrupted social security and Medicare.
