Once again proving that the Obama administration can do nothing right, a new report shows that in 49 of 50 states jobs have declined despite the stimulus that was going to save the nation. The only state with any job gains whatsoever was North Dakota. Of course the Obamabots in Washington and their seditious allies in the mainstream media are saying this is because of an economy inherited by Obama. If I recall, unemployment was something like 4.7% when Bush left office and it is now in double digits. The stimulus was supposed to be a necessary evil to keep unemployment from going about 8 percent. Of course, it’s like fact like these that really get liberals irritated.
New York is among the states with the greatest job losses, so what’s the liberal solution? Governor Patterson, whose blindness apparently extends beyond his eyes, has proposed an 18% tax on sodas. Yep, that’ll fix the problem. Why not raise taxes on cigarettes, lottery tickets and malt liquor, too. The feds have proposed cutting the salaries of some corporate executives by 90%, which of course will result in a brain drain from those companies, creating a new dip in the Obama recession.
The latest plan in the healthcare front involves a liberal pipedream called Medicare E, in which they will expand this colossal government train wreck for all to gain access to. Considering that the government is the reason Medicare has failed, this is surely to be a big flop costing us untold trillions more in deficit spending. Then again, this is just more proof that liberals could care less about the nation unless it involves a hair brained scheme to gain more power by creating entitlements for the uninformed and uneducated who comprise the Obama/Pelosi/Reid electorate.
In other news a terrorist was arrested in Boston yesterday, apparently for planning to conduct several attacks at shopping malls. Why can’t these arrests come in places like Alabama or Texas, where terrorists will get true justice rather than the People’s Republic of Massachusetts where this criminal will likely land a fellowship at some Ivy League university to espouse the evils of white Americans?
From the pansy front, it appears that Wal-Mart is in line for this week’s Golden Pansy Award after firing a loss prevention employee from chasing down a knife wielding thief. Apparently the mega retailer has a no chase policy. This may seem like a really dumb question, but if you have an emasculated policy like that then why do you have loss prevention employees? What should have happened is that loss prevention employee was armed, which would create a true deterrent to thieves. When he spotted the guy stealing, he should have filled him with lead resulting in this heroic employee being promoted to store manager; not to mention the thousands he would have saved the taxpayers that will now be wasted on three squares a day while the thief sits in prison.
