Welcome to 2009 and a call from liberals to raise the gas tax by 50%.   State and federal governments already receive as much as seventy cents on the gallon, compared to a paltry eight cent profit seen by Big Oil, perpetually in government’s cross hairs for their purported excess profits. 

The federal tax alone is eighteen cents, with the remainder of what can only be described as legalized thievery coming from the states.   Now the feds are seeking to impose another ten to twelve cent increase, with recommendations that states do the same.  

Leave it to some unaccountable bureaucrats in Washington to see taxation as the only solution to decreased revenues coming on the heels of decreased driving that began with gas approached five bucks a gallon this past summer, which was largely due to decreased supply as the result of failure liberal policies that limits domestic oil exploration and production. 

Rather than looking to steal more from Americans, already struggling in difficult economic times, caused by liberal abuses of power such as the Community Reinvestment Act and corruption at Fannie and Freddie, how about giving us some real solutions. 

If more money is needed for roads, then find it elsewhere. How much cash is being used to subsidize education, healthcare and welfare for illegal aliens? How much of the ill gotten gains of government is being used for bridges to nowhere or union bailouts? The waste of government is endless, yet rather than fix what they have created they seek to steal more from us? 

It’s utterly amazing that they are doing exactly what we would go to jail for.   If we were to demand money from another under the threat of a loss of life or liberty, we would be held accountable.   Yet government remains immune, having a pass to seize as much of OUR money as they see fit from OUR pocketbooks and if we object, they will punish us with a loss of freedom and liberty.

Way back when some folks got a little upset about this type of abuse, which was far less egregious than what we are witnessing today.   Tea was dumped in the Boston Harbor, muskets were procured and a few folks like Adams, Washington, Jefferson and Franklin brought about change. Not the kind of change being promised by the chosen one, which really is just proving to be more of the same, but real change that we could count on. Well, at least we could count on it until liberals got into power.  Maybe a more sensible approach to getting more funds into the government coffers would be to sell liberals, instead of arms, to our enemies abroad. Now there’s some change I could live with.

Happy Kwanzaa, whatever the heck that is.  To give you a little history lesson, this supposed holiday was invented by Ron Karenga in 1966, when it was branded as a black alternative to Christmas.   Karenga, a convicted felon and former professor of black studies at Cal State Long Beach,  postulated seven principles: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith, each of which gets its day during Kwanzaa week, which begins today.

Along with this racist holiday, Karenga devised a flag of black nationalism and a pledge: "We pledge allegiance to the red, black, and green, our flag, the symbol of our eternal struggle, and to the land we must obtain; one nation of black people, with one G-d of us all, totally united in the struggle, for black love, black freedom, and black self-determination." Yes, I am most certain Karenga and Jeremiah Wright were cut from the same cloth.

What all Americans must realize is that there is no part of Kwanzaa that is not fraudulent. The term comes from matunda yakwanza, a Swahili term for first fruit.   The last time I checked, Swahili was an East African tongue which has little relevance for black Americans who are descendents of slaves that were generally taken from west Africa. The cultural gap between west and east Africa is as dramatic as comparing Indiana to Indonesia. 

While Kwanzaa purports to celebrate a harvesting ritual, it is somewhat suspect that this would occur in December, a time when harvesting just does not occur.   Kwanzaa supposedly stands for human dignity but how does this reconcile with the common practices in Africa of female circumcision, stoning and polygamy? Kwanzaa celebrates corn, a crop that is indigenous to Mexico, not Africa.   Maybe Karenga, or the followers of this made up holiday could explain the celebration of an Ur-African culture that doesn't even exist in a continent where rival tribes slaughter each other for game.   

The truth is that Kwanzaa is just another excuse by its inventor to promote Marxism.   It has been embraced by liberals, who share a similar ideology and promote this fiction in an attempt to garner support for their nanny state multicultural agenda.

Bill Clinton went so far as to take a hiatus from messing up blue dresses to sign the Kwanzaa proclamation claiming that "The symbols and ceremony of Kwanzaa, evoking the rich history and heritage of African Americans, remind us that our nation draws much of its strength from our diversity."

The truth is that Kwanzaa is a sham. It is a made up holiday with no historical significance. It is a celebration by racists and black seperatists who seek to divide our nation using using fancy terms and outlandish costumes to promote redistribution of wealth. It is a call for blacks to celebrate Marxist concepts that have resulted in failure the world over, just as they are proving to do in our very own nation.  

As snow falls from Malibu to Houston one would think that the cries from the global warming alarmists would be silenced with the fact based reality that their silly notions rivaled only by the claims of the flat earth society. 

But as is usually the case with liberals, they will make excuses and use the courts to get their way, even when their way defies all semblance of common sense.   Similar to the Franken Coleman election in Minnesota where actual Election Day results don’t matter when fabricated ballots and activist judges can be used to set those aside in the name of advancing liberalism.  Just as liberals are using every means possible, legal or illegal, to certify Franken the winner, they will do the same to brainwash the American sheep of the plight of the planet. 

While evidence continues to mount that global warming is nothing more than a hoax brought about by anti-capitalist environazis, there are those on the left who still fail to see the forest through the trees. One of the factually challenged zealots would be none other than the messiah himself, who won election on the promise that he would bring about falling sea levels and global harmony.

In showing his true colors of economic and environmental illiteracy, B. Hussein Obama has named John Holdren as his Science Advisor.  Aside from the fact that this guy is a radical left wing zealot let me pose a simple question; why should the American taxpayers be paying for yet another unaccountable, incompetent bureaucrat?

Even the extreme left wing BBC announced this year that 2008 is the coldest year of the 21^st century and validated the fact that average mean temperatures have steadily declined since 1998.   Since these facts seemingly contradict Al Gore’s science fiction film, the liberal enviro wackos decided that they would rename the cyclical nature of weather as climate change. That’s great, now they have all their bases covered.   Snow in San Diego, climate change.   An 80 degree January day in Minneapolis, climate change.   This is perfect for liberals who are measured solely on intent as opposed to results.   What better way to achieve their redistributionist wealth agenda than to create a myth that nobody can debunk.

Unfortunately for hard working Americans with common sense, this will hit us in the pocket book.   The entire global warming/climate change ponzi scheme was created to simply give the government unfettered access to seize more of our earnings. 

For those of you who actually think that global warming exists, I have a bridge to sell you.   For those who think that climate change is some type of manmade phenomenon, look at the facts which are that history provided five distinctly warmer periods than we are witnessing today, including the 12^th century when much of Greenland was arable.   For those who like to blame SUV’s, fireplaces and charcoal grilles what’s your excuse for Pluto and Mars, where climate change is also occurring.   Once again, facts trump fiction which is precisely why liberals are going to use their new found power to enact the unFairness Doctrine which is designed to silence those of us who dare to tell the truth.

Throughout the pages of history, censorship and intimidation have been used to silence those who fought freedom.   Be it Stalin, Hitler or Mao, understand that what liberals are doing today is no different.   Sure, they may not want to kill you but that doesn’t mean they don’t seek to take away your economic and individual liberties.  Ask yourself, is it better to live on your knees or die on your feet?   I think our founding fathers provided that answer, which sadly is no longer discussed in our government schools where the concepts of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness have taken a back seat to nanny state entitlementalism and political correctness.

Bennett based his comments on this years ACT scores in which half of the cities 64 schools placed in the bottom 1% nationwide.   Of course the Democrat controlled school board claimed that it was because of the districts large minority enrollment, most of whom come from low income families and have a limited proficiency of the English language.  

Perhaps if the schools were teaching instead of making excuses their results would be a little better.  Both Cleveland and Milwaukee schools face the same challenges of poverty, broken homes and limited language proficiency, yet their students perform infinitely better because they have instituted school voucher programs where parents, not unaccountable government bureaucrats, select the schools that best meet the needs of their children.   

It appears that as we dig deeper into the Obama cabinet, we are starting to see his true colors show.   Even the messiah himself recognizes not only the failure of government schools, but the institutional racism that is so prevent, as he is sending his children to the elitist Sidwell Friends private school.   This type of liberal hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me. Imagine what would happen if our elected officials were required to send their children to government schools. Do you think we’d see condoms in the lunch line? Hell no, we’d see Bibles in the classroom and teachers spanking kids who misbehave.  

Once again we are seeing proof that liberalism always fails.   The reason for this failure is because liberals are measured only on intentions, not on productivity or results. Liberals have an inherent aversion to producing anything, other than rules, regulations and bureaucracy that inhibits results. 

The good news is that liberalism has always failed and will always fail; the bad news is that things will get worse before they get better as the general public, brainwashed by the mainstream media, continues to wallow in their nanny state stupor.  One day soon they will wake up and realize that their headaches are nothing more than a Democrat induced economic hangover brought about by the Community Reinvestment Act that busted the financial industry and corrupt unions that have brought the Big 3 to their knees.    

There is no question we can get through this, but to do so we must get back to our conservative roots of hard work, family values, rugged individualism and self discipline that made our country great.   We must all spread the word, be it the word of the Lord or the word of the Constitution, as both are equally important in the salvation of our nation. 

The media is spending an inordinate amount of time telling America that the Republican party is dead, but what they overlook is the fact that conservatism is alive and well and moving away from that message is what has hurt the GOP.   For anyone who doubts me, catch the Sarah Palin tour next time she is in town. She and other true conservatives such as Bobby Jindal, Mike Pence and Tom Coburn are the future of America.   

Truly great leaders bring people to them; they don’t waver on their own positions.   As the Republican Party has moved to the center, they have allowed the Democrats to move further left, which is precisely why the GOP has failed. Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher, two of the greatest leaders of the conservative movement, didn’t waffle at the behest of the media. Rather, they conveyed their message in a way that we all understood and, Democrat or Republican, couldn’t get behind fast enough.  

Gay schools and tasty condoms aren’t the direction that America needs or wants.   Coddling illegal aliens and outlawing Christmas doesn’t go over well in small town U.S.A. Undermining our Constitution, banning free speech and the right to defend our loved ones will not be tolerated, yet it is the goal of liberals.  Since the mainstream media won’t convey the message, it is up to you and I and our failure to execute in this mission would be tantamount to our forefather’s laying down their arms and surrendering to the British more than two hundred years ago.

Perhaps a story that is bigger than the Big 3 lining up at the trough is the State of California, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. The Democrat controlled assembly and Governor Schwarzenegger are pushing for tax increases which are currently being blocked by a small, but vocal Republican minority.   California is days away from having their credit rating cut and is resorting to paying bills in warrants instead of cash.  

I’m not sure why nobody in Sacramento gets this, but why not just cut out the insidious funding of education, healthcare and welfare for illegals? If California would immediately cut off all of the aforementioned wasteful benefits there would be no budget issue. If they would make their land so inhospitable to criminal aliens they would most certainly see their deficit turn into a surplus as achieving residents and businesses may actually return to the Golden State instead of packing their bags and moving to Nevada. 

Why is it so hard for elected officials, across the fruited plain, to see the simple solutions that could fix our economy in time for Christmas? Could it be that the economic illiteracy of liberals and their blind quest for power are standing in the way of saving America? I certainly don’t have a PhD in economics, I am not a Wharton grad and certainly can’t part the waters like the Messiah, but if I can figure it out why can’t they?    

If we were to do the following ten things, the economy would recover instantaneously:

1)      Repeal the Federal Personal and Corporate Income Tax and all withholding.

2)      Replace these taxes with the Fair Tax.

3)      Demand that Congress leave their leer jets at home and opt out of their retirement and medical plans and use the same plans they are created for the rest of us.  

4)      Demand that Iraq repay us a debt of gratitude with $100 billion dollars worth of oil and oil futures.   If the Somali pirates can do it, so can our pirates inside the beltway. 

5)      Eliminate all earmarks forever more.   No more buying votes with ridiculous pet projects.   Anyone violating this will immediately be impeached from office. 

6)      Privatize social security and let people invest their own money. Even with today’s terrible performance on Wall Street we would see better results than the pathetic returns provided by our unaccountable federal bureaucrats. 

7)      Demand that the Big 3 file Chapter 11 bankruptcy and reorganize as non union shops. 

8)      Implement tort reform to eliminate frivolous lawsuits and have loser pay laws requiring the lawyer to pay judgments on behalf of client’s who bring such actions. 

9)      Bar anyone from casting ballots federal, state or local elections if they don’t have an IQ of at least 80, have a photo ID and pay taxes. 

10) Stop all funding for the education, healthcare and welfare of illegal aliens.

Like I said, it’s simple.   I get it, you get it and so does every American with an ounce of common sense. But for some reasons the American hating left doesn’t get it. Instead they would rather lecture us on what is and is not best for us. If they don’t know what is best for our nation then they certainly don’t know what is best for us. 

Ed Rendell, the Democrat governor of Pennsylvania, is under fire for comments he made about fellow Democrat governor, Janet Napolitano of Arizona.   While standing next to a hot microphone, he said that Napolitano is perfect for the job as head of Homeland Security because she has “no life”.   Not to digress, but if you click here you will see why she has no life! But as far as being perfect for the job, anything short of putting her mug on a billboard somewhere south of Laredo is destined to be a disaster.

The appointment of Napolitano as the head of Homeland Security is something like putting the fox in charge of the hen house, Bill Clinton in charge of the interns or PanchoVilla in charge of border security.   As governor of Arizona, Napolitano vetoed legislation that would have made English the official language of the state. She vetoed a bill that would have banned in-state tuition and day care for illegal aliens. She also vetoed a bill that would have otherwise permitted local law enforcement to enforce federal immigration laws. 

If I were an illegal alien seeking to come to America, I’d pack my six kids in my low rider and head to Phoenix using the I-17 express lane reserved for illegal aliens.   If there were a version of Illegal Alien Monopoly, Go wouldn’t be Go, it would be Welcome to Napolitano’s Arizona, collect your $200 dollar welfare check, some free healthcare and a couple of wet burritos. 

Don’t get me wrong, the people of Arizona generally don’t support illegal immigration and for the most part do a pretty good job when it comes to elections.   Case in point, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who unlike Napolitano, routinely rounds up illegal aliens, dresses them in pink boxers, feeds them bologna sandwiches and puts them on chain gangs where they belong.   In fact, Arpaio is exactly what we need to head up Homeland Security, because he would actually be change that we could count on.

While there are supporters who claim that Napolitano has been an opponent of illegal immigration, her legislative record speaks otherwise.  Like the messiah, she is all talk.   Just this year, she diverted $1.6 million dollars in funds from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office, clearly creating a hardship for law enforcement in the state’s largest county. In addition to being an illegal abuse of power, her executive order was clearly an affront of Arpaio’s successful “posses” which utilize civilian’s to round up gate crashing criminals.  

There certainly is a silver lining with Napolitano being appointed to Homeland Security and that is getting her veto pen out of the way in Arizona.   Under the state Constitution the Republican Secretary of State, Jan Brewer, will take over the governorship which could finally result in illegal immigrants being banned from government schools, hospitals and the workplace where they would now be required to speak English. In simplest terms, the message to illegals would be Welcome to Arizona, Now Go Home!   The question is will they now be welcomed in the other forty nine states?

The economic conundrum should come as no surprise to any American. Rather, it should be viewed as the inevitable result of confiscatory taxation and bureaucratic regulation that has strangled the capitalist intent of our forefathers.   Way back when, a few folks gathered to throw some tea into Boston Harbor to protest government excess that was far less egregious than we are witnessing today.  

While unaccountable government officials decided “what is best” for you and I, we are commanded to sit idly by as Wall Street and the Big Three get cash that is seemingly spent on executive outings and corporate jets.   Wouldn’t it be nice if someone inside the beltway actually recognized that the solution to the problem isn’t a solution from the top down, but rather from the bottom up?   Perhaps that person may exist in the form of Texas Representative Louis Gohmert who is proposing a two month tax holiday for all Americans. 

Mark my words, this will get no publicity from the Treason Times, AP Obama or the Clinton News Net, but it’s getting some attention from yours truly. According to American Solutions, an organization founded by former Speaker New Gingrich, Americans pay $101.6 billion per month in personal income tax and $65.5 billion per month in FICA tax. Under Gohmert’s proposed plan these taxes would not be paid during January and February, 2009.   This is money that would stay in the hands of the people who earned it in the first place and no better than any government bureaucrat how to spend it.   For less than half the cost of the current bailout proposal, this would likely have exponentially more impact on the economy. 

Will this happen? Don’t count on it because liberals in congress will do their best to muzzle any word of this plan, just as they plan to muzzle your right to free speech in the coming session. Remember, liberals are all about power and control and if they were to let Americans see how much money is actually being seized out of their paychecks it could lead to an all out taxpayer revolt. Then again, maybe that’s not such a bad thing. 

Perhaps this should be taken one step further.   How about we repeal the insidious 16^th Amendment that permitted the government to steal money from our paychecks in the first place.   Just as Americans are being forced to do without as the result of government irresponsibility, maybe it’s time for them to do without.   Just how many ridiculous social programs, bridges to nowhere or butterfly farms on the moon could we do without? Just how many union jobs could we axe in federal, state and local governments that contribute absolutely nothing to our society?  

My suggestion is that you immediately write your Congressional Representative and tell them to support the Gohmert plan.   Tell them to nix the idea of a silly stimulus and their $50 million dollar mailings to advise us that a check is in the mail.   We need something that actually matters, like the right to keep what is rightfully ours to begin with. 

So where is all this change that we heard so much about?   Didn’t the messiah promise to end politics as usual? If I recall correctly, he was going to part the sea, walk on the water and build an ark that could withstand the Wall Street tsunami as it crashed ashore.

Perhaps the change was Rahm Emanuel.   Maybe it was Reich, Rubin or Podesta. Perhaps it is Hillary Clinton, our new Secretary of State.   I’m beginning to think that the only Clintonite not present in the Obama cabinet is Monica Lewinsky. But hey, at least Michele can once again be proud as she dons the famous blue dress. Just make sure to keep Bill away.  

Yes, this is the change that we can count on. More of the same.   The same lies, the same deceipt and the same failed policies.   For you liberals out there, my guess is that the Obama strategy on Iraq and Afghanistan is going to be EXACTLY the same as W’s. Want proof, Bush appointee Robert Gates has accepted an invitation to stay on serving as Secretary of Defense. You see, now that it is Obama's war surrender is no longer an option.   I wonder when it became fashionable to be a hypocrite?

At least those liberals who wanted change may now be starting to regret their vote.   They listened to the soaring rhetoric and for a while actually thought that the messiah could turn water into wine only to discover that he turned it into four more years of a Clinton administration.   And here we thought that the silver lining of an Obama victory marked the end of the Clinton regime.  

No such luck. In fact, if Bill Clinton wasn’t disbarred he’d be a shoe in for the Supreme Court.   My guess is Hillary wants him as far away from the beltway as possible, so look for an ambassadorship to Thailand where the women are cheap and easy.   Maybe Al Gore can take over the National Weather Service. At the rate Obama is appointing former Clintonistas, he’s going to run out of bodies soon. Maybe he can appoint Vince Foster in abstentia.  

As predicted, there is no change. There will be no change. There was never a plan for any change. All in all, the whole change bit was just a lie to bait the young, the dumb and the uninformed into voting for an empty suit.   Now that the suit got elected, he had to actually find people with enough experience to fill the void that will be in the Oval Office.  

Wow, I’ve to say that this is a new first! Co-winners of this weeks Golden Pansy Award. I guess this shouldn’t be a surprise as the coming of the holidays always seems to bring the pansies out of the closet. First up are the Claremont, California, government schools which have banned an annual celebration in which grade schoolers dress up as pilgrims and Indians.  

This blatant affront to free speech was apparently driven by one elitist parent, Michelle Raheja, who called this four decade old school tradition “demeaning”. Raheja just so happens to be an English professor (imagine my surprise) at a government college where she has unfettered access to spew this kind if hatred and vitriol against free speech around on the taxpayer dime.  

Superintendent David Cash caved in to this nonsense when he should have simply told this bimbo to take a hike and told the kids to come in full garb. To any readers whose children attend schools in this district please do us all a favor and have your children show up in full pilgrim and Indian garb to make a point to parents that don’t respect freedom of speech that their opinion is a minority one that just does not matter. 

Next up is Florida Gulf Coast University who gets the Golden Pansy Award for their outright ban on all holiday decorations on campus. While I would like to give them credit for not limiting their ban to Judeo-Christian displays, which is typically the case in academia, the reality is that this ban is designed to appease Muslims. 

University President Wilson Bradshaw wrote in a memo to faculty that “Public institutions, including FGCU, often struggle with how to best observe the season on ways that honor and respect all traditions. This is a challenging issue each year at FGCU, and 2008 is no exception.”

Actually this is not a challenging issue at all. It is actually as simple as saying, Merry Christmas, as that is what the vast majority of Americans celebrate.   Certainly, the university can welcome other displays for other holiday celebrations, but to undermine the fabric of our American culture is not only an absurd miscarriage of justice in the name of political corrections but this assault on free speech and expression is tantamount to sedition!

As the holiday season approaches, we should expect more and more of these egregious examples of political correctness run amok, which is precisely why we must make these Marxist oriented assaults on free speech a crime.   It is high time that anyone committing a felony of political correctness be charged with high crimes and misdemeanors and sent to prison for no less than 10 years. 

As a society, we must lash out against anyone who seeks to undermine our individual freedoms and liberties, in particular if they are guilty of political correctness.   We must punish those who seek to take away our right to celebrate and we must encourage our children, whose minds are being raped in government academia, to rise up against these transgressions by liberal elitists.  

For now, let it suffice to say that the Claremont government indoctrination center and FGCU is the latest recipients of the Golden Pansy Award for their contributing to the emasculation of a future generation.   They should be embarrassed, ashamed and utterly disgusted with their anti-American, anti-freedom, scroogesque behavior that can no longer be tolerated in a society that prides itself on freedom of speech and expression.

Russian professor Igor Panarin has suggested that the United States is on the verge of collapse.   He initially made this prediction 10 years ago, and this week granted an interview to IZVESTIA this past Monday where he reiterated his dire outlook.

I believe that there is a lot of credence to what Panarin is saying for several reasons. First, our dollar is not backed by anything. Until the 1970’s, our dollar was backed by gold.   However, going off the gold standard left us with dollars that were realistically backed by nothing but hot air and our reputation as the world financial leader. 

Second, our debt as recently as the 1980’s was non-existent.   When Panarin made his first prediction of the demise of America in 1998, our debt was $2 trillion.   Today our debt is $11 trillion.   I would ask you, is this a house of cards ready to fall? 

Third, we are seeing some of our largest, oldest and most respected banks either bankrupt, on the verge of bankruptcy or in government receivership.   This crisis, while initially the fault of the federal government, is spreading like a plague throughout the private sector.   The question is whether or not there is a cure. American’s put their stock in the rhetoric of an Obama administration, so the reality is there is no cure.    

Panarin goes on to suggest that America will break up into multiple parts, or nations.  Historically, the average life expectancy of any free society is about two hundred years. We are well beyond that, and arguably are no longer the free society that we once were.  

The political divide in our nation has become increasingly polarized with northeast and west coast paradigms that are extremely different than the southern and western regions of our nation.    There are currently more than two dozen secessionist movements underway, and it is likely that one or more of these will ultimately succeed. 

For the past fifty years we have watched our largest cities deteriorate, as jobs moved overseas and increasing taxes, high crime and lousy schools forced the achievers to the suburbs.   The result has been inner city chaos with many cities either in or headed for bankruptcy.  

If the Big Three go under, what will that do to an already decimated Michigan economy? If the banks go under, where will that leave New York or San Francisco? Panarin suggests that the demise of these cities will result in 6 distinct nations forming in what was once the United States. The west coast, the northeast, the western states, Texas, the south and the middle part of the nation.  

I don’t necessarily disagree that this will eventually happen, although the alignment of these new nations may be somewhat different.   In all likelihood, a west coast alliance is a good bet given the shared propensity for socialist idealism in California, Washington and Oregon. There will be a southwest alliance as the result of the reconquista, or retaking of the land that illegal aliens seek to procure, called Aztlan. The reformation of the south, with boundaries similar to the Confederate States of America would bring together states with similar religious values and customs.   The northeast has long held a worldview much different than the rest of America, and like the west would foster a new government based upon socialism.   The Midwest and northern tier of states with their ties to Canada, as well as farming and manufacturing would likely evolve.  As for Hawaii and Alaska, they may each achieve the independence that many residents already seek.

Will this happen in our life? I would put the odds at better than 50/50 that we will see a change in the boundaries of what we consider the United States in the next fifty years.   The polarization amongst the electorate is indicative of a cultural civil war already being waged.   The election of Barack Obama has resulted in purchases of guns reaching record levels; meaning that our cultural civil war could become much more if the direction of our nation is not altered. 

Arguably, now more than ever, is the time to step up to support real American values of hard work, self reliance and rugged individualism.   The people with these values will be the ones who capitalize and benefit from whatever is going to happen.   Having an escape strategy is not a bad idea, although any destabilization of our domestic economy will have negative ripples throughout the world.  

The life cycle of any free society involves eight phases.   The society begins by breaking the shackles of bondage and moving to spiritual faith. It then moves from faith to great courage.   Then comes liberty, followed by abundance.   The abundances leads to complacency which turns to apathy. This apathy results in dependence and inevitably back to bondage. As you consider the predictions of Panarin, give some thought to where we are as a society. My best guess is that we are somewhere between apathy and dependence.   Considering the election of Obama, I would lean towards the latter. 

As the government takes over businesses, threatens to silence free speech, ban guns and seize our 401k plans, it would appear that bondage is within reach.   Consider the words and predictions of Panarin, brush up on your 18^th and 19^th century U.S history and then come to the realization that history repeats itself. It always has and it always will.

While on the campaign trail B. Hussein Obama promised us hope and change.   In the days since his election, he has managed to pollute his entire cabinet with a bunch of Clinton retreads. I’m puzzled, is that hope or change?  

It appears that the messiah will be chauffeured around in a Cadillac limousine that gets a reported 10 miles to the gallon.   Maybe you can help me here, is that hope or change?  

Mrs. Obama, who for the second time in her life is proud of her country, has decided to enroll her children in the Sidwell Friends school where tuition is $29,442 per child.   This must be hope, because it sure isn’t change as both the Clinton’s and the Gore’s enrolled their children in this same elitist academic institution.  

So where is all this hope and change?   It’s all we heard about for twelve months.   As the messiah read his carefully crafted speeches from his teleprompter, we were asked to believe that he would part the skies and walk on water to fix all of our problems. He even promised to pay my mortgage and fill my gas tank, but despite his victory I still have a pile of bills at home.  

Do you think the young, the dumb and the uninformed have woken up yet?   What will it take to arouse the sheep from their nanny state stupor? The bailouts are apparently starting to rile some of the flock, but there are more bailouts on the table.   How about a bailout of the unions who have driven the Big Three into the ground. There’s now talk of a network television bailout due to declining ad revenues.   I wonder if they will include Fox News, the one profitable network, in that one.   My guess is personal bailouts are next. I think I’m going to run up an excessive amount of debt, because any semblance of fiscal responsibility will leave me S.O.L.

As of today the government has committed $7.4 trillion dollars to a variety of bailouts and this doesn’t even include the Big 3, who like the little piggies they are, will also line up at the trough.   Never mind the fact that we should demand they file bankruptcy and void all their union contracts before they get a nickel as that would make too much sense.

Where does this end? The liberals love it because they are getting ownership in every sector of American business.   Never mind the fact that those same incompetent government bureaucrats can’t even balance their own checkbook, this is about power.   What’s that called, hope or change?   Incompetent bureaucracy certainly isn’t change, so I guess that must be hope.  

In keeping with his pledge of more change we can count on, B. Hussein has announced that Eric Holder, another former Clintonista, will be his attorney general.   You may recall that Holder, then assistant Attorney General under Janet Reno, was the guy who signed off on Clinton’s pardon paperwork for fugitive financier Marc Rich.   Let’s see if perky little Katie and the folks at the Treason Times pick up on this one. 

To show how dumb the average Obama voter is, one needs to look no further than the recent Zogby poll which targeted Obama voters on Election Day. In this poll only 32% of Obama supporters knew that Democrats controlled Congress.   Only 2% could accurately identify questionable associations of the Obama.   Of the twelve questions asked only 54% could answer more than half correctly.   I wonder if summing up 1 + 1 was one of those questions? 

Of course Zogby is now under fire for this poll by the mainstream media because it does nothing short of exposing Obama supporters as generally being young, dumb and uninformed.   Arguably it makes the case for requiring voters to pass an IQ test before being allowed to cast a ballot.   But in the eyes of the media it hurts the image of their messiah who sheppard’s his flock like the blind leading the blind. 

None of this should come as a surprise.   We had a year’s worth of media coverage where not one question was asked of Obama, while Sarah Palin was criticized for the color of her lipstick. There was not one journalistic investigation into Obama’s citizenship, his illegal aunt, his terrorists associations or his racist church yet we had several journalists question whether McCain was really a POW. Joe Biden and plagiarism, forget it.   Sarah Palin’s husbands DUI twenty years ago; front page news.  

Now we have four more years of a media that is openly in the tank for their candidate.   If terrorists strike our homeland, it will be George Bush’s fault.   The economic collapse caused by the Democrat Community Reinvestment Act, George Bush’s fault.   Just wait, before it is all said and done the greedy unions will have no culpability in the demise of GM.   I guess the question is what is a greater concern, the threat to free speech posed by Obama’s agenda or the death of investigative journalism in America? 

My advice, if you don’t have a gun get one.   As I watch the horrific Obama appointments and his call for a civil security force we may as well be watch Der Fuhrer.   To think that we don’t live in dangerous times is like thinking the Democrats aren’t in charge of Congress; they are and we do. 

Our Constitution may not be able to withstand the inevitable challenges the Obama administration will present and most certainly the abominable jurists he will appoint.   We have a candidate who openly called for increased taxes, yet he got elected. His agenda means that unemployment will rise, yet he got elected.   Interest rates and inflation will rear their ugly heads, but the voters who by a 2 to 1 margin can’t name the Vice President elected Obama. In my own polling we have voters who by a margin of 73-27% can’t tell you why they voted for him but still voted for him.   These are voters who by a margin of 86-14% can’t name one single legislative accomplishment but put him in office anyway.   Then we have the voters who by a 96-4% margin elected Obama because of the color of his skin without even questioning whether their vote was for someone of Muslim descent or black descent. As Forrest Gump once said, “Stupid is as Stupid does.” Meet Stupid, you 2008 Obama electorate.

Dear President Elect Obama,

I am puzzled. For the past two years, during the longest presidential campaign in history, I have heard about how you would help me pay my mortgage and fill my car with gasoline.   You parted for the waters for the great unwashed with promises of everything from free healthcare to cable television, yet I still have a pile of bills in front of me.

Your election has proven to be a disappointment not known since realizing that the Brady Bunch house was an architectural fraud.   Like you, Mike Brady was a messiah of sorts. He was sold to Americans an ingenious architect who brought together three boys and three girls who lived happily ever after in a home that he designed. 

Perhaps you can explain how one can walk in the front door, go to the left, through a kitchen and into a family room and make another left and be in the back yard.   Only someone like Steven Spielberg, or the guy who writes your speeches, could design a home where the upstairs bedrooms are suspended over thin air.  

Maybe I just don’t know where you are coming from, but your campaign reminds me of the A-Team, where people drive off cliffs, get shot, cars explode but no one ever dies.   The show, like your campaign, used smoke, mirrors and stunts to make everyone feel good at the end of the hour, only this isn’t TV and it isn’t an hour. It’s our lives and four years of inevitable economic disaster. 

You’re healthcare mandate is a lot like Wylie Coyote falling off the cliff and smashing into the earth below, only those impacted won’t be around to see another scene with Road Runner.   In most respects your presidency has already jumped the shark before Reverend Wright has even had a chance to swear you into office.  And swear he will; remember, in your world it’s not God Bless America, its G-D America. 

In a mere three days since your sheep with the help of ACORN "elected" you we have seen the stock market tumble and job losses reach a fourteen year high.   New car sales are at a 25 year low, a recession is imminent and your plan to mandate unionization at stores like Wal-Mart is going to drive even more jobs overseas and more Americans to the unemployment line.   But for some strange reason you think a tax increase on the very people who create jobs will be the magic elixir.  

My suggestion is that between now and January 20^th you go and find an old Delorean, install a flux capacitor and fly back in time to 1985, when we actually had a competent leader who understood national defense and economic prosperity. Pick up a copy of the New York Times before they sold out our nation and read the business section.   Learn about free market economics and the evils of communism.   Perhaps then you will be fit to lead our nation without your misguided notion of government being the solution, because it’s not. It is the ultimate evil and the sole cause of each and every economic catastrophe facing our nation today.

Perhaps you recall Barack Obama’s pledge to be a new kind of leader, a man of change, out with the old Washington politics and in with a new spirit of bipartisanship.   In his first move as President elect he has appointed Rahm Emanuel as his Chief of Staff.   For those not familiar with Emanuel, he was one of the leading Clinton henchmen. He is a Chicago political thug, partisan hack and one of the most vile human beings to ever walk the face of the earth.   His most famous quote is that Republicans can go FU#! themselves.   He epitomizes everything that we came to detest about liberal politics, described by fellow Democrat Paul Begala as a cross between a “hemorrhoid and a toothache” and how he is Obama’s mouthpiece.

What’s it been, two days and two I told you so moments? At this rate we should look for William Ayers to become Secretary of State, Louis Farrakhan to become Secretary of Defense,  Jeremiah Wright to become Secretary of Education and Michele Obama to be head of the Proud to be an American movement.    

Chicago has long been known as the gutter of politics where crime, corruption and intimidation are the norm.   To those who wanted change so badly, I hope this is what you were anticipating.   Washington will become more partisan than ever with the liberal congress taking Tuesday’s election as a mandate to govern from the far, far left.   They will be so extreme that their agenda will make Karl Marx look like Ronald Reagan. 

As proof of this, you need look no further than a report in Reuter’s yesterday where liberals are calling upon the government to seize all 401k’s.   This sinister plot would involve taking your retirement and placing it in the Social Security Trust, which has already been bankrupted by Democrats.   Your investment would be limited to 5% and your annual return would be capped at 3%. To the economically illiterate amongst us, don’t fall for this charade. Stock investments are a long term proposition.   The average annual return over the past 100 years is 8%, just as it will be for the next hundred years. The government knows this; you may not because chances are you have been indoctrinated by this same government whose sole purpose in education is to rape the minds of our youth.  

If the government is going to steal your retirement, what else will they seek to steal?   What about your home, your business, your cottage or your car?  They already have free speech and your right to defend your loved ones in the cross hairs.   If ever there was a time to be vigilant, that time is now.   The most dangerous days in American history are now upon us and there is nothing we can do about it for the 767 days. Hopefully this is enough time to wake up the sheep in our midst who will otherwise be led to slaughter by the very people they put in office.

Now that the dust has settled and the Bolshevik’s have vacated Chicago’s Grant Park, how do you feel? I’m actually feeling pretty good, not about the outcome of the election nor the realization that Obama won’t be paying my mortgage, but rather about the future of our great nation.   I wonder if Michele Obama feels this good as the stupor of euphoria wears off and the lines of voters gather to collect on promises that simply can’t be fulfilled.

Democrats now control both houses of Congress, but this is no change.   Sure, their majorities have grown, but they are at least not supermajorities as many pundits had anticipated. The executive branch is now in the hands of the most liberal president ever elected who will be in a dire predicament if he doesn’t appease his far left constituents and power brokers. But to do that he will alienate those to whom he promised change, resulting in an inevitably cataclysmic failure.  Either way, someone will be upset and Obama will be called a liar, a sham and a fraud as he is in a no win situation.

It was interesting to watch the world stock markets yesterday, which rallied on the news of an Obama win. From Tokyo to London, investors were ecstatic until it came time for Wall Street to close, with the Dow falling more than it ever had in one single post election day.   Perhaps those closest to Obama foretell the future, which is certainly the first I told you so moment of his term and he is not even in office yet.   Mark my words; we will have many more I told you so moments to come in the next four years which will be the worst four years since Jimmy Carter wrought havoc on our nation. 

So why am I so happy today? Because I recognize that Obama is going to give the mainstream media their wakeup call.   The lifeblood of the media is negative publicity and for the past eight years they have had George W. Bush, a president they singlehandedly made unpopular, to use as their scapegoat.   He’s gone, the Democrats aren’t. Bad news isn’t going away.   In fact it is going to get worse. Who can they possibly blame; their beloved Democrat who control Congress or their messianic, untested, little known President elect. 

For conservatives, I see the best years yet to come.   According to election day data, 33% of voters were self described conservatives, 22% self described liberals.   We had gay marriage bans passed in Arizona, Florida and even the perpetually blue California.   Despite what the pundits think, we are a center right country with the Reagan generation just beginning to reach the peak of our money making years.   As this new generation of power brokers emerges, we will embrace Republicans such as Sarah Palin, Jeff Flake, Mike Pence and Bobby Jindal because they, like us, are true Reagan conservatives who have not lost their direction.

While John McCain is a great human being and America, he was a marginal candidate at best.   Certainly he understands the danger posed by Islamic fascism, but his assaults on free speech and his support of amnesty were always red flags.   In many ways, his losing will turn out to be a long term win as liberals will be exposed for who they really are over the next four years.   We have far too many in the younger generations who don’t understand the grave threat to freedom, liberty and sovereignty posed by liberals who embrace Marxism far too easily.   We have an entire northeast and midwest that are economic basketcases and just so happen to be dominated by liberal politics.   We have a south and mountainwest that continue to thrive and of no surprise are dominated by conservatives.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what is wrong, but it will take four years of bad economic news to wake up the government educated, economically illiterate sheep.

My hope is that the change we can count on begins in Alaska, where Ted Stevens won re-election as a convicted felon and now must resign. Governor Sarah Palin will then be able to call a special election and would win in a landslide.  Let the change begin there and begin a snowball effect that will have liberals and their insidious socialist ideals running for the hills beginning with the 2010 mid-term elections that take place in just 769 days.
