It looks like Michele Hussein Obama, the perpetually bitter American,  is back at it now telling people to not vote for a candidate because she is cute. I wonder to which candidate she is referring?  Perhaps one day the Messiah will realize that the best place for his wife is out of sight and of mind, or perhaps Venezuela or North Korea where her Marxist ideals would be better received. 

In another gaffe, Joe Biden is now claiming that it is patriotic to raise taxes.   To the contrary it should be argued that taxation is tantamount to treason.   Our nation was founded in large part as the result of a tax revolt and it’s high time that we have another gathering to dump tea into the harbor. True patriots understand the role of government and realize the intent of our founding fathers was to limit the extent to which government intruded into our day to day lives.  

If Biden had even a elementary understanding of Economics 101 he would realize that the worst thing that could happen to our economy is a tax increase, which will result in a loss of government revenue and increased unemployment.   Any idiot with a half a brain already knows this yet we have Democrats wanting to do just that.   They continue to pander to the working class with this class warfare rhetoric, which in the end will only hurt the very people they are pretending to care about. 

The Democrat controlled congress is in a panic because they do not understand the first thing about economics. So what’s their solution? Let’s go on break. Yes, let’s play Chicken Little and get out of Washington before the voters realize how stupid we really are. Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid once again showed his complete ineptitude when he said of the financial crisis that “No one knows what do to do.”

I find this rather curious because just yesterday I was listening to speech by John McCain and Sarah Palin who seemed to spell out a plan.   It called for accountability on Wall Street, in Washington and among lobbyists.   This has got to scare the dickens out of many politicians, especially liberals whose lifeblood is special interest contributions. 

Of course the mainstream media doesn’t bother to pick this up as they are too busy with their Democrat counterparts hacking into Sarah Palin’s personal e-mail.   Can you imagine the firestorm that would have erupted if someone had dared do this to Obama or Biden! 

What the media and the public need to focus on is which candidate would more effectively lead our nation through this financial mess.   Obama’s closest economic advisers are Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, both former heads of the failed and recently bailed out Fannie Mae.  How can Obama go anywhere with a straight face and blame Republicans when his campaign staff is neck deep in this mortgage debacle? It isn’t just Fannie where Obama has a problem, as one his closest political advisers and former Clintonista Rahm Emanuel served on the board of directors at Freddie Mac.  I rest my case. 

Once again the truth becomes an inconvenient fact for liberals which is precisely why their seditious allies in the mainstream media seem to be sweeping issues of concern under the rug. Perhaps as Americans wake up from their nanny state stupor they will begin to realize the potential consequences of an Obama presidency which will destroy our nation for generations to come.

Yesterday we began talking about the current state of financial affairs in America with Democrats once again playing the blame game.   What I would like to know is why nobody is talking about the Community Reinvestment Act, a disaster created by Democrats that forced financial lenders into bad lending practices resulting in the fiasco we are faced with today. 

This act was implemented in 1977 during, surprise, surprise, the Jimmy Carter years. It came about as the result of special interest groups, race warlords and community organizers seeking home ownership opportunities for those who would otherwise be unqualified.  

In 1995, the Clinton administration found that the targeted demographics were still being underrepresented and forced banks to create more opportunities for loans in the secondary or subprime market.   The Clinton revisions allowed for the securitization of these loans with the first firm to back these risky loans being Bear Stearns. Hmmm, think we are onto anything here? 

In 2003, the Bush Administration sensing some concern about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s financial standing, sought to move some oversight of high risk lending practices under the Department of Treasury.   This move was blocked by Democrats such as Barney Frank who said, "These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis, the more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing." Representative Mel Watt (D-NC) added "I don't see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing."

So once again, we have Democrats failing to understand basic economics and putting the taxpayer at risk for what can only be considered another government handout.   Even in the face of financial disaster, community organizers and racist organizations such as ACORN, are demanding that the scope of the CRA be expanded even further which once again is evidence of an inevitable Obama disaster in the event he is elected and given a rubber stamp by the Democrat controlled Congress to confiscate and redistribute more wealth.

With all of the issues on Wall Street have you noticed how quick the mainstream media and liberals are to point the finger at corporate greed and the Bush Administration?   The reality is we are once again facing a crisis created by liberal idealism that can be traced back to a Clinton mandate that anyone who wants a home is to get a home regardless of credit worthiness.  

This utopian vision may work out quite well in the Communist Manifesto but the reality is it has failed our nation and resulted in some of the biggest financial failings in history.   However, this is the credo of Democrats because they live for crisis and failure because it generates negative news and fosters a culture of victimology.  

In steps B. Hussein Obama, our messiah and savior who is going to part the waters and make everything alright.   He has already put together an ad blaming John McCain and George Bush for a financial crisis that was actual brought about by failed liberalism. 

Historically it takes at least a decade for the failure of liberalism to surface. Look at the War on Poverty, the Great Society or School Bussing. All were abysmal failures that have seriously decimated our society.   Next take a look at the failure of social security or elder health care. In the housing market take a look at Fannie or Freddie with their government guarantees on loans simply because of the color of ones skin. All failures as the result of onerous government rules and regulation. 

In this election we have a candidate who believes that this is the type of change that we need.   He got his start as a community organizer under the tutelage of Saul Alinsky, an avowed communist.   Alinsky’s approach to achieving domestic Marxism was somewhat different than other radicals, as he was not vocal. Rather, he wanted to covertly enter into and take over established institutions, as has been achieved in government academia.  

Liberalism and Chicago are synonymous and Obama became the standard bearer for the Chicago political machine which runs the most corrupt city in the nation. Since January there have been 292 murders in this city compared to 221 in Iraq.   Illinois has a $44 billion dollar debt on their state pension fund yet Obama made millions in shady land deals with convicted felon Tony Rezko.   Chicago has a 10.25% sales tax to fund these politicians who have unfettered access to a culture of crime and corruption. 

Failed liberalism is the political culture of B. Hussein Obama who understands the Alinsky model of playing the game, infiltrating and destroying a sector of the capitalist enterprise. This is precisely the game that is being played in the financial markets as the government gets more and more involved.   

Once could argue that the fed should be commended for their lending AIG a helping hand in the time of need.   They could, but wouldn’t the better argument be that AIG would never have been in trouble had it not been for intrusive government?  

Always on the alert, the Pansy Patrol has found their way to Hilton Head, S.C., where a 4^th grader was suspended for being in possession of a pencil sharpener.   Apparently pencil sharpeners contain razor blades which is against the district’s zero tolerance police. 

Sure, pass out condoms in the lunch line and permit socialist government teachers to rape the minds of our youth but heaven forbid a child try to sharpen their pencil.   The punishment for this crime is a two day suspension with additional penalties being considered by the school board. 

According to district spokesman Randy Wall, speaking on behalf of Hilton Head Island International Baccalaureate Elementary School, the district is stuck in a precarious situation between their zero tolerance of having weapons at school and common sense.   No, sir, you are stuck between having no common sense and complete idiocy, for which the school district is receiving the latest Golden Pansy Award.

The reason I often mention our Pansy Award winners is because their actions reflect a greater cause for concern brought forth by the Democrat Party and liberals in general.   This entire concept of zero tolerance was introduced by liberals who did not want to be accountable for making tough decisions. Look, if you bring an AK 47 to school you should be expelled, but a pencil sharpener or a couple of Tylenol? This is where our tax dollars are being spent and why it is so critical that we bust up the government monopoly on schools.

Emasculated pansy like behavior, otherwise known as political correctness, is one of the greatest threats to our freedom.   B. Hussein Obama, who apparently is enjoying an 80% approval rating in the Middle East, wants to create an environment that would foster more of this Marxism.   John McCain and Sarah Palin have taken a clear stand on the side of freedom, which is the natural enemy of political correctness. 

It is incumbent upon us, as the purveyors of common sense in our society, to make Americans understand that their vote goes well beyond the rhetoric of empty suits speaking in front of Greco facades in football stadiums.   This is about the future of our nation and what we leave behind for our children.   It is about more than one’s position on the War on Terror or what color lipstick we put on a pig. 

We are a republic of law, not a democracy of man, as liberals would have you believe. The approval rating of Obama in Germany has no bearing on the outcome of our election, as the mainstream media would have you believe.   It is up to you and I to do our job of electing electors who will cast their votes in the Electoral College, which is how presidents are chosen in this land.   We have a civic responsibility to take this challenge seriously and to educate those less informed than us of the gravity of the situation at hand.  

B. Hussein Obama has the most liberal voting record in the Senate, Joe Biden is #3.   This type of extremism is what has brought about bans on dodge ball and tag in schools. This is why we have banned the Bible but permit programs like Campus Condoms for Kids.   Obama promotes sex education for kindergartners but not the death penalty for child rapists.   Ebonics education, promotion of homosexual curriculum and abortions in the school nurses office are what liberals mean when talk of giving more power to government schools.  

As a nation we need to take our schools back and the only way to achieve this is to keep liberals out of office. We need to elect people that understand the failure of government, who can put forth an alternative system that puts parents in charge of tuition tax dollars.   Perhaps now you see that our attacks of pansies, while on the surface may be somewhat silly, they actually have a much deeper meaning as the sinister behavior enabled by liberals is precisely what is undermining our nation.

Overt sexism in the media has become evident.   If B. Hussein Obama had put Hillary Clinton on his ticket, would this sexism still be evident? Arguably not, as Sarah Palin may not have been a consideration for John McCain.   The irony of that entire political picture is that the analogy of putting lipstick on a pig wouldn’t have ever been raised although it would have been entirely more appropriate.  

What has happened as the result of Obama forgoing the former first lady, who is as eminently unqualified as he, is the awakening of a sleeping giant.   The millions of Americans who comprise the silent majority who are generally too busy with careers and families to pay much attention to politics are suddenly galvanizing behind one of their own.  

Liberals are fit to be tied that the first lady to reach the White House may now be a female, which of course is for selfish reasons. In the teachings of left wing feminism the one valid theory is that radicalism is the quickest way to change.   What they seem to forget is that conservatism tells people that it is acceptable to change.  

Hillary Clinton is a prime example of what American’s don’t want; an Ivy league educated, narcissistic, power hungry, shrill socialist. She has negative ratings higher than her positive ratings driven in large part by her twisted ideology and shady past dealings.   On the opposite end of the spectrum we have a hockey mom who went to a state university.   She began her career in the PTA, then as mayor and finally as governor of the largest state in the nation. She is not shrill and clearly not in politics out of narcissistic necessity.   She knows what it is like to balance the family budget because she has done it.   She is one of us, a member of the sleeping giant silent majority.   Liberals don’t get and it’s beginning to show in the polls. 

Until Palin was added to the ticket this election was about more of the same, regardless of who won. John McCain has been a Washington insider for more than twenty years.   Certainly Obama likes to claim that he is an outsider, but the reality is he chose a running mate who has been in Washington for longer than McCain.   Making matters worse, Obama is a creation of the Chicago political machine which is arguably the only political enterprise in the nation that is more corrupt than Washington, D.C. 

It was GOP vs. DNC talking points; do we surrender to Islamic fascists and socialize medicine or do we cut taxes and grow the economy.   Now all bets are off because a true outsider has gotten onto the ticket.   This outsider balanced the budget in Alaska because that’s precisely what she did at her home in Wasilla. She recognized waste, so she put the state jet on e-bay. She felt the struggles of Alaskans so she increased their energy dividends.   The leer jet liberals don’t understand this because they don’t understand real Americans.  

Sure, they have their standard constitutents; comprised of the folks in the housing projects waiting for another handout and illegals waiting for amnesty.   They have their core supporters of trial lawyers who ply their trade of victimology and elitist academics who rape the minds of our youth in government classrooms. But besides this, what do they have?

The answer is a dwindling popularity as Obama and his flock in the biased liberal media tries to paint Palin as a pig which has caused the silent majority to rise up and lash back.   The message to Obama is if you are going to call someone a pig, perhaps you should find someone more fitting (there are plenty who fit the bill in the Democrat Party).   But do us all a favor and continue with the name calling and false accusations because with each passing day, the ticket that now represents real Americans is gaining steam.   Maybe Joe Biden was right when he said you goofed with your VP selection.   Then again, I wouldn’t want to walk backwards through every door for the next four years either.

Isn’t it interesting how the mainstream media knows no bounds in their 24/7 attacks on VP nominee Sarah Palin.   First she was unqualified, then she was corrupt, then she lied about the birth of her child, then she wasn’t vetted properly and now she is sounding like a broken record.   This, of course, from the same media who has never once questioned any position, ideal or association of their messiah Obama.  

The mainstream media has gone so far as to report stories coming from the left wing anti-American blogosphere without any foundation or merit, which in the real world would be tantamount to libel.   Each and every story has proven to be false.   The latest media hype is to jump on Palin because she continues to use the same soundbytes throughout her campaign.  

Think about this for a second, she goes to Columbus and gives a speech and then gives the same speech in Pittsburgh. Imagine the audacity of sharing the same message with two completely different audiences.   Of course all politicians do it, including the Chosen One who has parted the waters with a message of “change you can count on” for the past eighteen months but has never been accused of being a broken record. 

The truth is the media has run out of attacks so they are finding little nuances in the campaign that can be used against Sarah Palin.   They have perhaps discovered that gender is off limits after seeing an incredible backlash from their initial attempts to play that card.    They can’t attack her experience, as she has more than Apollo Obama himself.   They can’t attack her children. They can’t attack her for firing a state trooper who just so happened to have threatened her husbands life and tasered her 10 year old nephew.   They are fit to be tied as her popularity continues to soar despite their throwing everything but the kitchen sink in her face. 

So what next? It is being reported that a team of 30 lawyers and investigators have been sent to Alaska to turn up anything they can possible find.   Perhaps there was a parking ticket in Wasilla in 1984. Maybe there is a leash law violation.   If enough bribes are handed out they are certain to find someone who will lie about something.   Don’t underestimate these people who learned all of their dirty tricks from the Clinton’s.  

So far McCain and Palin have stayed above the fray and stayed on message.   The media obviously wants them to change the message creating an even more compelling case to continue using key phrases comparing mayors to community organizers and reminding the world that the difference is that mayors actually have responsibilities.  

You’ll recall back in May that B. Hussein Obama mentioned that he had “now been in 57 states”. Of course the media completed ignored this remark, which was quite possibly a Freudian slip as there are 57 Islamic states and Obama does come from Muslim heritage.  

Obama has been adamant about his Christian faith and most Americans have seen excerpts from his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, who has referred to our nation as the U.S. of KKK A among other anti-America sentiments likely shared by Islamic extremists at home and abroad.   While his church claims to be of the Christian faith, his pastor did give Nation of Islam founder and outspoken anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award.   The two also traveled to Libya together to meet with radical Islamic dictator Mohammar Khadafi, again raising the question of their sympathy for terrorists.  

In an interview on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopolous the Messiah actually referred to “my Muslim faith”.   He did correct himself, but was this once again a Freudian slip?   We know of Obama’s Muslim heritage and his upbringing in Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population.   He has expressed sympathy for terrorists, voiced a willingness to surrender to Islamic fascism and has said that he would meet rogue Islamic leaders without precondition.   

While the mainstream media won’t bother to dig for facts, I did their job so you can make an informed decision this November.   Obama was born and given the name Barack, which is Arabic for the word “blessed” and is taken right from the Koran.   His father was a Muslim, which according to Islamic and Sharia Law makes his son a Muslim for life even if B. Hussein Obama thinks otherwise.  In the eyes of terrorists from Syria to Iran, he is one of them by virtue of this irrevocable accolade bestowed upon him at birth. 

Not only was Obama’s birth father a Muslim but so was his stepfather who took the family to Indonesia where Obama was enrolled as a Muslim while attending Fransiskus Assisis Catholic school in Indonesia.  

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Obama's half-sister has stated that the family attended the mosque "for big communal events." Childhood friends said that “Obama sometimes went to Friday prayers at the local mosque." In a report by Kim Barker of the Chicago Tribune it was discovered that "Obama occasionally followed his stepfather to the mosque for Friday prayers." One Indonesia friend, Zulfin Adi, states that Obama "was Muslim. He went to the mosque. I remember him wearing a sarong" (a garment associated with Muslims).

The big question for all Americans is whether or not Obama is being forthright or is he intentionally trying to deceive the general public?   We know that Obama refused to wear an American flag on his lapel or recite the Pledge of Allegiance, which may not make him a Muslim but it casts him in the same light as radical Muslims who hate our nation and our way of life.  

The question remains what are Obama’s true sentiments towards our nation?   We have heard from his wife who has never been proud of her country.   We have heard from his pastor who blames 9/11 on our country. We have heard from unrepentant terrorist, mentor and friend William Ayers who said that when he blew up the Pentagon he did not go far enough in his war on our country.   So where does Obama really stand when it comes down to serving and protecting our country?

John McCain may not have the eloquence of B. Hussein Obama, but his acceptance speech had substance, something grossly lacking when the Chosen One stood before the Greek columns just one week ago.   What John McCain lacks in oratorical skills he certainly made up for in ideology, achievement and vision.   He clearly has differentiated himself from the Obama campaign which is proving to be more of the same failed tax and spend liberalism. 

I was particularly impressed that McCain took on the failing government schools.   While Obama and his fellow liberals see the solution as giving the unions more power, McCain wants to end union power and put control where it belongs; with parents.   McCain spoke of blacks getting equal access to schools and insightfully pointed out that this really isn’t success if that access is to a failing school.   The unions have got to be scared to death of John McCain because his plan to give power to the people will result in the destruction of the largest union in America.   That, my friends, is a good thing. 

It was interesting to see how McCain stepped up to admit that Republicans have failed in Washington because they let Washington change them.   It takes a real man to admit when he was wrong, which Barack Appollo Obama refuses to do when discussing the highly successful troop surge which he voted against. While many conservatives, myself included, don’t agree with McCain on every issue it is growing ever more difficult to not admire him for his courage and independence. Again, this is a good thing that is going to really hurt liberals this fall.  

The picture was painted of a man who wants to go to Washington to fix a broken system who is running against the status quo.   John McCain is something of a renegade in today’s politics which is a stark contrast to The Messiah, a picture perfect empty suit created by the Democrat political machine that has run organized corruption and crime in Chicago for decades.   Obama is fed his talking points like a baby is fed from a bottle. He reads his masterfully scripted soaring rhetoric from a teleprompter as if he were auditioning for a Hollywood movie.   Despite this irrefutable fact, he has millions of sheep following him to the shining light at the end of the tunnel.   Sadly his followers are too ignorant to recognize that the light is a train that will decimate our economy and our nation.  

Obama is finally being asked the tough questions that the mainstream media has refused to ask for the last two years.   It is coming to light that Obama was a senator for 143 days when he announced his run for presidency. While he has written two memoirs he has never brought forth meaningful legislation.    America now knows that his thin resume consists of an elitist Ivy league education and activism as a race baiting community organizer.   In other words, he has done nothing worthwhile in his entire life but according to US magazine is happily married. That would be to a woman who has never been proud of her nation. 

So from one small town American who clings to my guns and religion to another it is time that we do the job the media refuses to do.   We all know people who are economically illiterate and politically uninformed.   We need to reach out to those people and explain what an Obama presidency will mean to the future of our nation.   We need to challenge them to explain why they support a candidate with less experience than Sarah Palin had while running the PTA.   We need to openly question Obama's associations with racist reverends, racist organizations, communist sympathizers and unrepentent terrorists.  If people are challenged to think, they will inevitably get the picture. 

John McCain is promising tax cuts, Obama tax increases.   McCain wants to win the war on Islamic fascism, Obama wants to surrender.   McCain wants to drill here and now as well as take an all of the above approach to energy independence; Obama wants to transfer our wealth to rogue nations who hate our guts.   McCain wants to open up new markets for goods and services; Obama wants more government regulation and less economic freedom.   McCain’s plans will expand our economy which will result in more government revenue, lower taxes and more jobs.   Obama will raise taxes out of a misguided sense of fairness and class envy which will reduce government revenue, contract the economy and result in jobs being sent overseas.  

Once Americans are presented with the facts, inconvenient as they may be for liberals, they will make the right choice.   Certainly there will be those amongst us who choose to remain economically illiterate and the reality is they would vote for Osama Bin Laden if he had a D after his name.   What they are getting instead is Obama Bin Biden.   You tell me, what’s the difference?

By most accounts, the speech by Sarah Palin was an overwhelming success.   Quite honestly, that is an understatement as this candidate hit the ball out of the park.   For having no experience, as the media claims, she stood in front of an audience of millions and wowed people from coast to coast. 

There was no soaring rhetoric, no Hollywood props and no stadium filled with kool aid drinking kooks.   Rather, there was one woman who got into politics for all of the right reasons taking on an establishment filled with politicians who got into politics for all of the wrong reasons. 

At times she was witty, at times charming and at times brilliant.   She mixed a tale of family with a tale of success that every sane person in America can relate to.   She is a mother who got into the PTA to fix the schools.  She got into elected leadership to fix a town and then a politically corrupt state.   The reality is her executive experience in the PTA is more extensive than anything B. Hussein Obama has ever done in his life.  The fact that she is now governor of the largest state in the union should take the experience issue off the table as Obama’s lack thereof pales in comparison. 

The reason that Americans are flocking to Sarah Palin is because she is one of us.  She is not an Ivy League educated elitist or member of the college debate team.  She is a gritty woman from Middle America with Middle American values.  Like those of us who share her values, she is proud of her nation; not for the first time in her adult life but each and every second of each and every day. 

Considering the values and common interests that Palin shares with the real Americans who live east of the Sierras and west of the Hudson, I guess it should come as no surprise that the media despises her just as they despise you and I.   There hypocrisy and double standard is becoming more and more evident as they assail Palin for her lack of experience yet have never raised that issue with regard to Obama.   They have questioned Palin’s involvement in the firing of a state trooper who just so happened to be tasering her nephew with state issued weapons but they have never asked Obama about his associations with racists reverends and unrepentant terrorists.  

The media has done everything in their power to assassinate the character of Sarah Palin and her entire family.   They have libelously assaulted her teenage daughter and continue to report a DUI that her husband had 22 years ago, which by the way was about the same time that Obama was abusing cocaine and marijuana.   What next, front page stories of the Palin’s dog getting a citation for violating a leash law? 

The attacks will continue to rise because the apple cart of the liberal establishment has been turned upside down.   Feminists, who years ago burned bras for the right to gain access to what Palin has achieved are beside themselves because she bucked their liberal agenda.   Rather than relying on government set asides and handouts, she earned her success with hard work and determination, two very evil concepts in the world of liberalism.  

Liberals have cause for concern because their messiah may no longer be a certainty.   They are now faced with a young, articulate and attractive woman who will shatter the glass ceiling that has kept feminists in their place.   The reason the glass will now shatter is because Palin is not a feminist with a radical agenda.   She is one of us who American men will defend because she reminds us of our wives, daughters, sisters and mothers.  She has the qualities that have always been lacking in the feminist movement.   She understands that respect is earned and is not some type of set aside program.  She realizes that Washington is broken and to the dismay of liberals she is going to fix it.   She recognizes that rugged individualism and self reliance, not higher taxes and more government, is what truly made America great.  

It is almost humorous to watch the mainstream media coming completely unhinged over Sarah Palin.   Certainly there is an element of left wing bias as any McCain running mate would have faced intense scrutiny and tough questions from the very folks who have given Obama and his sordid history a complete pass.   More concerning is the overt sexism that dogged Hillary in the spring and has become even more prevalent today. 

Once again we are witnessing the hypocrisy that has become the calling card of liberals who supposedly stand up for the oppressed females.   After all, wasn’t it liberals who created the concept of feminism which created a sense of being and self importance for women, in particular ugly women? 

Sarah Palin embodies all of the reasons that feminism has failed.   She was a star athlete and beauty queen who married her high school sweetheart and then challenged the good ol’ boy network of Alaskan politics.   She did this without the help of NOW or the radical feminist agenda.   Rather, she is a proud wife and mother and lifelong member of the NRA.   She has achieved the feminist utopia without being a radical, left wing liberal which is precisely why she is being tarnished.  

Sarah Palin has become the Clarence Thomas of 2008.   If you recall, there were similar smears against Thomas by civil rights groups because he wasn’t black enough. Of course these same hypocrites are in the tank for Obama who is only half as black as Clarence Thomas. The difference is Obama supports their self serving agenda of race baiting politics unlike Clarence Thomas who supported freedom and individualism. 

It will be interesting to see how these attacks escalate as Palin tells us her life story which will resonate with voters in states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan.   The media will certainly continue to challenge her experience without acknowledging the hypocrisy of never mentioning Obama’s lack thereof.   They will mistakenly turn this into a race of a number one against a number two and will place race over sex which is a big mistake in a nation that is only 12% black but 51% female.  

Many Hillary supporters will turn out to vote for Palin because of the historical context of this election. Regardless of party affiliation, shattering the glass ceiling is something that is now within their grasp.   Making matters worse for Democrats, this VP candidate may have sealed up the white male vote, in particular union members who will likely buck the edicts of the union bosses and cross over to vote for the GOP ticket.      

What Palin brings to the table is a political paradigm from outside the beltway. She may not have the years of experience of governing that Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan brought with them when elected but she does have common sense and sound judgment.  She has experience governing the largest state in the nation, bordered on the east by Canada and the west by Russia, which is certainly more experience than B. Hussein Obama has as a community organizer.   

The liberal media is beside itself as Hurricane Gustav turned into a big bust. Much to their dismay there was no looting, failed levees, flooding or fatalities.  In hindsight, we will all recall the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina with the failures and inept leadership of then Democrat governor Kathleen Blanco.   By comparison, the execution and hurricane preparedness of the current governor, Republican Bobby Jindal was spectacular.   Too bad the media will only focus on the negative instead of sharing the truth with the American public. 

Making matters even worse for the Treason Times were the actions of John McCain and George Bush who took a pass on the first day of the Republican convention so as to provide assistance to the people of Louisiana.   Laura Bush and Cindy McCain took center stage to ask for donations to assist with these efforts.   This is a far cry from the soaring rhetoric and staged theatrics put forth by the Democrats last week.  

Of course the media wouldn’t be the media if they didn’t try to make the attacks on the Republicans personal which they have now done with Sarah Palin’s daughter who finds herself pregnant at seventeen.   Unlike liberals, who wouldn’t hesitate to kill the kid, she is not only having the baby but is marrying the father.   This has got to drive the kook fringe left crazy given their disdain for the sanctity of life and family values. 

Look for some more dirt to surface as the Marxists at moveon.org and their pals in the seditious media search for ways to derail the McCain campaign.   There are going to be more smears against Todd Palin who got a DUI when he was 22 which is about the same time that Joe Biden was charged with plagiarism.   I am sure that some false allegations will also be brought forth in the troopergate scandal where an inept law enforcement officer was terminated and is now trying to make it personal. 

Interestingly these attacks may backfire on Democrats.   Even B. Hussein Obama recognizes the potential of trying to navigate these uncharted waters and is trying to stay above the fray. Then again, when your skeletons include a wife who hates America, a racist reverend and a close ally who is a former terrorist it probably makes sense to take the politically expedient high road.  

The real reason that liberals are coming unhinged is because they recognize that John McCain may have pulled the biggest rope a dope in the history of politics.    He found a female who is going to shatter the very glass ceiling that sent Hillary tumbling back to her place in the kitchen. As the governor of the largest state in America she has more executive experience than Obama and Joe Biden, who combined have never had to make an executive decision in their lives.   As the CEO of the largest state in the nation, she commands a national guard that sits mere miles from the coast of Russia. Sadly for the media, they realize that attacks on experience and credibility against McCain and Palin will be futile, so they must get personal. 

If politics were baseball John McCain just eclipsed Barry Bonds home run record* with his selection of Sarah Palin as vice president.   Not only is she a conservative female, but unlike Democrat ladies she is attractive and has common sense. She is a proud wife and mother, two qualities loathed by liberals. Making matters worse for Democrats, she loves God and her country.   She is a lifelong member of the NRA, hunter, snowmobiler and fisherman. Her favorite food is moose stew and her favorite brand of clothing is Patagonia. 

This is a far cry from the inside the beltway, politics as usual pick made by B. Hussein Obama with his selection of Joe Biden.   The politics of change appears to now be John McCain who went as far outside the beltway as possible to find a running mate who may very well shatter that glass ceiling that recently sent Hillary Clinton tumbling back to the secretarial pool.

Liberals are already on the attack regarding her thin resume. Excuse me; she is the Chief Executive Officer of the largest state in the nation.   She has extensive experience in dealing with oil companies and sharing the oil revenues with the people of Alaska. Unlike Obama, who is running for President, she has legislative accomplishments. Yep, legislative and executive experience running for the number two spot against neither running for the number one spot. If you fail to recognize the hypocrisy of the attacks on Palin by liberals then you, my friend, are a lost cause who should do us all a favor and stay home on Election Day. 

Could Sarah Palin speak in front of a façade of the Acropolis? She could, but she doesn’t need theatrics and soaring rhetoric to get her points across because unlike her opponents she recognizes the issues facing Americans and has solutions.    She is an honest to God, down to earth conservative who embodies real American values, a characteristic in short supply among liberals today. At 44, she isn’t some big city, bedwetting idealist but rather a small town girl who came of age during the era of Ronald Reagan that grew up to do something meaningful with her life.

Liberals are accusing her of lacking foreign policy experience. I am sure that as Governor she had many dealings with liberals from the lower 48 who are more hostile to Alaskans and their oil revenue than most nations abroad would ever be.   She has confronted Washington and told them to stuff it when presented with a multi million dollar check for the bridge to nowhere.   Unlike Obama, she has decency and integrity that comes across as more than a phony photo op in front of the Berlin Wall. 

Her eldest is in the military and her husband is a blue collar worker. She got into politics for all the right reasons, mainly to fix our broken system which is the polar opposite of Obama’s motive of creating the very thing that is broken; government.   She never sought out the guidance of race baiting reverends or domestic terrorists to get her foot in the door. Rather, she took on the status quo and beat it. She is exactly what America needs today.   Like I said, John McCain hit the ball out of the park on this one which may have just sealed up his election in November.

By all accounts Barack Obama gave a wonderfully moving speech on Thursday evening as most suspected he would do. He was poised and articulate as he read the carefully scripted rhetoric from his teleprompter, once again leaving America in the dark as to specifics for this so called “change we can count on”.

While Obama could certainly rank among the best "A" list actors in Hollywood, he clearly lacks any substantive qualifications to be President.  His background as a community activist and civil rights attorney may be appealing to some constituents, but does he have any real business savvy?  His lack of economic understanding is evident as he promotes an agenda of higher taxes and more unionization that will drive both investment and jobs overseas. Making matters worse is his incompetent approach to foreign policy with suggestions that Iran is not a threat and promising to meet radical Islamic leaders without precondition.

While many Americans claim to want change, they need to understand that they got change in 2006 when they put Democrats in charge of Congress. Since coming to power they have managed to pass the largest tax increase in history. Their policies have resulted in an increase in unemployment and inflation. Worse yet, the price of gas is up more than 50% and despite this they continue to their refusal to drill domestically, preferring to transfer our wealth to rogue middle eastern nations.

By any measure the last two years have been an economic failure that the biased and partisan mainstream media likes to blame on George Bush. Yet when Bush and the GOP were in charge, we saw tax cuts, low inflation, low unemployment and a record increase in home ownership and home equity.  After witnessing the damage inflicted upon our society since the Democrats came to power it would only be exacerbated with the election of Barack Obama who would be in a position to rubber stamp the very socialist agenda that is causing our economic woes.

He is promising healthcare for all which would be run by the very same government that bankrupted social security. His suggestions that we withdraw from Iraq before securing victory are tantamount to surrendering to Islamic fascism which will surely result in more attacks on our soil. Rather than defending the sovereignty of our nation, he proposes giving amnesty to illegal aliens. Making matters worse, he has promised to appoint the type of judges who will take away the rights of law abiding
citizens to defend our loved ones from the very criminals he is welcoming to our land. His associations with the racist reverend Jeremiah Wright and former terrorist William Ayers are beyond concerning, they are downright scary. His support for such things as the Fairness Doctrine, designed to silence conservative viewpoints and his general disdain for the premises of freedom and liberty upon which our nation was founded are even scarier.

If the mainstream media were being honest the majority of Americans would know about all of these issues and more. They would know that Obama has a pathetically thin resume and this first term Senator has virtually no legislative accomplishments. It is time that Americans move beyond the rhetoric of "hope" and "change" to gain an understanding of Obama’s true plans for our nation. For those voters who seek a candidate that will inevitable to destroy our nation with more failed government bureaucracy and socialist entitlement programs, then by all means vote for Obama. For the rest of us who care about our right to economic freedom and individual liberty it would seem that the Democrats have once again let us down.

Before the Chosen One even opens his mouth to read a carefully and masterfully scripted speech from His teleprompter tonight the words that He will utter are pathetically predictable. B. Hussein Obama will rise up from the ground against a backdrop that resembles the Parthenon in a stadium filled with thousands of adoring kool aid drinkers.   He will greet the world and thank his bitter and angry wife and then Bill and Hillary Clinton.  

The Messiah will then launch into a speech about change. He will talk about hope and everything that the government can provide to those too lazy to fend for themselves.   He will decry the war without coming out and saying that he prefers Islamic fascists to our men and women in uniform.   He will speak of opportunity for immigrants without ever mentioning his intention of granting amnesty to illegal aliens.   He will play the class warfare card without openly stating that he will double the income and capital gains taxes.

Yes, His speech will be moving unless he meets the misfortune of his teleprompter going on the fritz. He will pretend to make eye contact with the camera but the truth is that he will be carefully reading, word for word, the large type written letters on the screen before him.   Make no mistake; he doesn’t have a clue what he is reading only that he is reading.   As a concoction of the Democrat Party, the Chosen One will be presented to the American people in the hopes of duping them into thinking that Obama is a vehicle of change.

There will be no references to the twenty years he spent under the tutelage of the racist reverend Jeremiah Wright. There will be mention of his mentor and friend, the former domestic terrorist William Ayers.   There will no mention of the anti Semitic Louis Farrahkan or any of the other race warlords that have shaped the persona that has become B. Hussein Obama. 

Sadly a large portion of the American electorate is either too stupid or too uninformed to see through this charade that could result in the most un American candidate for elected office in the history of the Republic becoming the president of the very country he loathes. Yes, if you are a socialist it is not possible to love America. The same is true if you are a communist. Ditto if you are of any ideology that does not put our Constitution and our individual freedoms first which is something that today’s Democrats refuse to do. 

Certainly the Obama speech will get accolades from the mainstream media who will cheer the Obama oratory that is eerily reminiscent of Adolph Hitler.   Even scarier is the reaction of his pawns in the audience who faint at his utterance of the words hope and change much like the general public during the rise of the Third Reich. 

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that Obama is the second coming of Hitler as it’s highly improbable that he will seek to exterminate the Jews. However, he will seek to appease and coddle the very terrorists that seek to accomplish this.  He will also seek to exterminate our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. His agenda will seek to ban free speech, vis a vis the Fairness Doctrine. He will seek to use his judicial appointees to ban the right to defend your loved ones from the very criminals he seeks to coddle by banning the death penalty. He will seek to end the secret ballot for unionization resulting in record numbers of jobs being shipped overseas. His tax increases will drive investment from America and leave us on the brink of not only the recession brought to us by the Democrats elected in 2006, but an all out depression. Home prices will plummet and the cost of gas will double as he and his party continues in their refusal to drill here and now.   Yes, it may not seem like it as he speaks of hope and change tonight, but when you read between the lines this is what he is really saying.
